Let Baynes loose!!!
You spelled Kawhi wrong.
Let Baynes loose!!!
does anyone know where this game is going to show for austin area twc subscribers?
I think Pop will just focus on being ready for the playoffs. He will still try to keep winning games but he certainly won't overplay his players. In fact, it's what he did the whole year.
And Spurs clinching or not a top 2 seed today doesn't really matter because if it doesn't happen today, it will happens in the next few days.
@Monroe_SA
No josh smith, al horford, dev harris for hawks v. Spurs
Great! A chance for another group of D-Leaguers to take us to that mat.![]()
Isn't he back with the DLeague team?
No Amuseddaysleeper, we should win this one without a injury.
Game Notes:
On the season, San Antonio is fourth in the NBA in points per game at 103.5. But in the last seven games, the Spurs are putting up just 94.4 points per game and have gone 3-4.
If anything is working in the Spurs' favor, it's that they will be facing a Hawks team that has looked terrible in their last two outings and will be playing on the second of a back-to-back. Atlanta was handled rather easily by the suddenly resurgent Philadelphia 76ers on Friday, falling 101-90 at home. Devin Harris (foot) and John Jenkins (concussion) both missed the game, and although Jenkins will likely return on Saturday, Harris will be out once again.
Atlanta's last two losses have dropped them back to the No. 6 spot in the Eastern Conference, one game behind the Chicago Bulls and two games behind the Brooklyn Nets. The Hawks likely do not have to worry about falling to No. 7, as they are 2½ games ahead of the Boston Celtics and the Celtics have been ravaged by injuries of late.

Interesting rant from Hawk's Coach, Larry Drew:
Coach Larry Drew was not pleased following Friday's loss.
"Here we are 77 games into our season and we don't know who we are. All the way back to training camp, and with all the changes that we made, one of the things we made a point to our guys to understand was who we had to be," Drew said. "We had a team that would be gritty. We had to be a team with a blue collar mentality every time we stepped on the floor. Somewhere along the line we have forgotten who we have to be."
Atlanta is 18-20 as the guest this season and suffered a 98-93 home loss to the Spurs on Jan. 19. Parker racked up 23 points and 12 assists to lead San Antonio, which has won four straight, 11 of 12 and 14 of the last 16 meetings in this series.
The Hawks have lost 14 straight and 17 of the last 18 in the Alamo City.
