the second half is definitely better. its the best book of the series. i know that the R.W. is likely gonna be the half way point. Martin sure doesn't give a about killing characters, thats awesome.

I admit I was pronouncing Casterly Rock as "Castle-lry Rock" in my head when I read this book.

Thought season premiere was pretty good.

Not a bad episode. They've made some strange deviations from the book that I don't quite understand. I don't know why they emphasized that Sam forgot to send the ravens, or why Ghost was there instead of with John. Don't know how they're going to get around Ramsay Bolton, or build Rob up into the military strategist he's supposed to be (as opposed the vacant dude he is in the show). It was an alright start either way. This is the best book in the series, so hopefully they don't it up.
