Just said it on NBA Countdown. IF it were to happen, what do you guys think are the realistic possibilities? I think Spurs win in 5, maybe 6, even w/o Manu.

(Also, I still think OKC finishes first in the West cause Pop will rest our starters the last 2 games of the season).

    1) nothing wrong with him saying that
    2) the matchup won't happen so no need to get an aneurism about it
    3) this is the same got that sayd "my lakers are done, put a fork in them" just a few weeks ago

He's right tbh. If the Lakers hold on to the 8th seed and the Spurs continue to play like dog but somehow end up remaining 1st, the Lakers will win in 6. However, the chances of both happening are small.

I really hope Portland takes a massive dump on the Lakers tonight just so I can hear Magic's reaction. Literally for no other reason but that. I think Lakers lose to the Spurs and Rox anyway, and possibly to the Warriors, and they'll miss the playoffs. But I want them to lose tonight so Magic can look like a fool after the game

Enough about the gotdamn Lakers. Magic needs to divert the discussion to the more relevant teams.

Same guy that also rode Spurs last year saying they were going to win it all guaranteed.

Basically this year's Spurs team is identical to last year, with Leonard improved. What makes him think a buttom feeder that may or may not get into the playoffs can beat the same team as last year?

IF lakers somehow beat the spurs in the first round, spurs would be nailed on the pillar of shame as the only team to have been upset twice as the #1 seed imho

Magic needs to worry about his gay, Kenan Thompson son taking a virulent load in the ass.

as for his prediction, unless Stern already privately confided to him that's the plan, which I wouldn't doubt, then Spurs can take Lakers.

Both teams are playing terrible basketball right now and have key injuries.

A toss-up series, so Magic isn't necessarily being a dip homer with his take.

I will say no but say it's possible that the Lakers could beat the Thunder in the first round. I wouldn't trust the Thunder in the playoffs this year. They have major letdown written all over them. I could definitely see a first round disappointment in their future.

Spurs would win in 6, but it's not even going to happen. No way they hold onto the number one seed, even if the Lakers get in.

spurs have been resting so it's nothing beyond our expectation that they've lost some games the past week or something, wihle the lakers have been fighting their asses off for a playoff spot yet still playing like . there's such a possibility but i'd still put money on them spurs anyday over the lakers tbh

If three first names can somehow integrate Gasol as a more prominent part of the offense, I would reluctantly have to say that it is possible, especially with how crap the Spurs have been playing lately.

That said, I will say Spurs in 7, even with the Lakers having 25 more FTA in that game.

We will then see substantial sanctions on the Spurs for not looking out for the league's best interest by winning the game.
