El. Em. Ay. Oh.
I have a feeling this move is gonna please horror fans
I'm very intrigued, but I'm not sold. As much as I've admired Refn's films so far, I don't think any of them are without flaws.
I just read A Single Shot Yesterday, pretty good. Should make a very good movie, surprised it hasn't been adapted before.
I adore Sam Rockwell, so A Single Shot is a no-brainer for me.
Hadn't heard anything about the Gondry film until this post, but it looks gorgeous, as they typically do. And I've liked the lead actor in L'Auberge Espagnole and a few other French films I've seen him in, so that's one I'll keep in mind when it hits Netflix.
If you get a chance there is a "small" film with Rockwell that is quite well done and he is superb in it. "Joshua"...he plays the father to the le character who is evil incarnate. It's a disturbing film, and was a box office flop, but, I think it's just great.
From '68...
- "We made two mistakes. One, we hung an innocent man. Two, we didn't the finish the job. Now we can't do anything about the first. But, we can still finish the job."
- Ed Begley
The early prime of Eastwood. The supporting cast is exquisite.
He really captured my liking in Moon... I can't wait for Single Shot. That trailer gives me a Paul T Anderson meets Cohen Bros vibe.
And Gondry is my favorite director. I'm confident I'll like Mood Indigo (i think that's the english le). The trailer looks Science of Sleep-like. I'll check L'Auberge Espagnole out. My french repertoire is limited atm
It looks good... last I checked, the movie showed in Germany for what I'll assume to be a select screening, but they have yet to announce an official release date so maybe I'll have time to read the book.
I loved Drive and it looks like Gosling is pretty much playing the same character from what the trailer shows. Cinematography looks awesome.
IM3
the end fight scene, is that cyborgs controlled by downy? or those american soldiers in them suits?
cause it be lame if the govt gets the technology and starts mass producing it....
