Anyone else try batch 19 and surprised by how good it actually was? Was at heb this weekend and they were sampling it, I tried it and bought a 6 pack. Didn't drink it til today but was pleasantly surprised at how much taste it had and that it went down smooth with no ty after-taste. Would definitely recommend it.

Had this at GABFBear Republic Brewing Company is adding another popular, award winning beer to their seasonal bottled offerings, Black Racer. Currently being bottled and kegged, Black Racer will be landing on shelves in select areas of California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, and Virginia during the first week of April. This will shortly be followed by distribution in Maryland, Texas, Ohio, Arizona, and additional California and New York markets.

Had some Whisky Barrel Double Pecan Porter on tap last night at Draught House, very tasty. I have it on good authority they may do another batch before the end of the year
Craft Brews Slowly Chipping Away At Big Beer's Dominance
In the U.S., we drink $200 billion worth of the hops-brewed libation annually. What many Americans might not know is that most domestic beer, 90 percent in fact, is dominated by just two companies: Anheuser-Busch InBev and MillerCoors.
Innovators, however, are challenging that dominance in the form of craft beer breweries. Small mom-and-pop-style breweries — or regional breweries — now account for about 6 percent of domestic beer sales. That may seem like a small number, but it's been growing every year since the early 1990s, while big brewers' share is declining.
There are now more small breweries than there were before Prohibition, when beer was largely a regional business.

This is just the special beers that are going to be there. I don't exactly what to think about that shock top beer being on there.

Congrats on the recent legislative victoryAs I sit here at work, surrounded by beer my mind cannot help but to continually cycle back to the bottle of Harviestoun Ola Dubh 30 sitting in my fridge at home.
