2003: Lost 110-82 to end the year vs. the Spurs
2004: Lost 100-87 to end the year vs. the Pistons
2005: Quits with an injury when Lakers are on the verge of missing the playoffs
2006: Infamously quit vs. Phoenix in game 7 to end the year
2008: Lost 131-92 to end the year vs. Boston
2011: Lost 122-86 to end the year vs. Dallas
2012: Lost 106-90 to end the year vs. OKC
2013: Quits with injury when Lakers are on the verge of being the biggest failure in NBA history

When adversity strikes, Kobe's reaction is predictable, tbh..

Now that Kobe's career is over where do you think he ranks among the all-time greats, Harlem?

I was thinking based on his performance this year that he could crack the top 15 but now it's obvious that's not going to happen

    Kobe.

Nothing more than a glorified NBA player that cries and nags when things dont go his way. Guy takes drama to a whole other level with his gotry.

I dont always wish harm to another human being but Kobe go jump in front of a train.

Everyone is overreacting. He hasn't had an MRI yet. He could be back on the court Sunday, just because he was crying and talking about retirement doesn't mean it is serious until the doctors weigh in.

Perhaps, but, you have to uncross your in' fingers & toes for it to even have an inkling of a chance.

He can't make it to the train tracks, brah. Because he blew out his Achilles trying to jack up another contested jumper. Besides, he'll wanna take that 30 mil from the Lakers next year before jumping that train.

What a coincidence. All of these occasions coincide with the exact dates David Stern purchased 1000-count bottles of anti-depressants.

He'll strive mightily to come back BETTER than he was. That will be his [secret] goal. To show "those mother ers"=Howard, Vanessa, some of the Celtics, et al. You know to whom I'm referring. But, he'll adjust if he has to, find that point and settle in. He has the con. The clock is ticking, but, it ticks for all of us. And he realizes that. That's his advantage.
