You know, last night all I could think is "D'Antoni's such an idiot, waving off Gary Vitti and letting Kobe hero himself into a career-ending injury" but now that you have bumped this thread, it dawned on me that this could be a brilliant coaching move. It's a way to cut the cancer, not unlike what Popovich did yesterday with Jack. I think I'm going to have to start giving Pringles a lot more credit now; maybe he really is about winning to take Laker fans' favorite idol down for the good of the team. Bravo Pringles; now you guys might have a real chance this season.
