Dat is bull . There are a bunch of Kobe fanbois, and a bunch of blind homers but that place has posters that would on pretty much everyone on here except maybe you, Jam, Timvp and a select few others. Not only do legit beasketball writers post on LG but there are knowledgable,diehard fans as well. I post here more because it's more like the wild west and there are far less rules ...plus I like to talk ...but dont act like this place hasnt becaome a cesspool since the Spurs last rang ... we have ty posters of all denominations here.
Sure, plenty of terrible posters here - but the ratio is much better. Not only that, at least with it being a cesspool, it has entertainment value. LG has a terrible ratio of quality posters to idiots and none of the sense of humor that should come along with that.
Oh no doubt this place is funnier their mods are like Nazis, just saying the quality of writing is better.
But again that is why I post here ... it's fun for a corporate felow like myself to slum every once in a while ...

As many of you know, I was temporarily banned the other day for posting a picture of my penis, tbh..in all honesty, this was just a feeler to ascertain the forum's reaction to sexuality, in this case, a male poster posting an image of male genitalia..
I can no longer live this lie on ST, tbh..

I didn't intend to be the first openly gay poster on SpursTalk, but since I am, I'm proud to have this conversation..I wish I wasn't the poster creating this thread to declare that "I'm different"..if I could have it my own way, somebody else would have made this thread, nobody has, so I pressed the "submit new thread" option, tbh..
I realized I needed to go public when Koolaidman, the original man in the closet, was recently banned..I was secretly holding out until he admitted the obvious, but it was too late, tbh..
Nobody wants to live in fear, tbh..I'm careful not to say the wrong thing on ST..I've endured years of misery and gone to enormous lengths to live this lie, exacerbated by this forum's tendency to use the word " got"..it killed me every time I read it..
I'm glad I'm coming out in 2013 rather than 2003, tbh..the climate has shifted, so has public opinion..I've wondered how my fellow STers will react..the simple answer is, I have no idea, tbh..I hope for the best, but I plan for the worst..
I hope I have blazed a path for others to come out, this was necessary in the sports forum community, I hope my revelation will help mitigate the fear of those still in the closet..
