Can you read? I said nothing about Duncan guarding Shaq. I was talking about the idea behind the J. O'Neal signing would be that it would force Phil Jackson into a "pick your poison" scenario. Either stay with Horry on Duncan (or double Duncan, which is something PJax never liked to do), which is matchup the Spurs want every time, while Shaq is pulled out of the paint to guard the other O'Neal, resulting in a wide open lane for Parker penetration. Or put Shaq on Duncan and risk tiring him out/getting in foul trouble.
And lol at saying Shaq wasn't dominant in the 4th. I JUST posted an article that proved with hard stats that Shaq was the most dominant 4th quarter player on the 3 peat Lakers. What will it take to get it through your thick skull that Shaq was a strong 4th quarter player and for you to dismiss the completely re ed myth that the Lakers didn't go to him in crunch time? How many more in' play-by-plays do I need to post?
Yeah, the Spurs would've never signed Bowen otherwise. It's not like Sean Elliott just retired or anything, and they would have been completely content going forward with him as their SF. He probably would've played great defense on Kobe from the ESPN announce booth.
Are you really this stupid? Really?
