why wouldnt he?
what excuses were you expecting with a fake ass leader for the last 6 seasons?
why wouldnt he?
cause he dissappear in the night like how he dissappears in the playofs
cause eva found out, and then he was in the middle of a divorce, and only an idiot would someone else till said divorce was final. Maybe he did afterwards but if that is the case she was no longer Barry's wife.
Good game Lakers. I really hope this game was just the result of the Spurs having nothing to play for. The entire team, with the exception of Duncan, played like dog offensively. Parker looked like the worst player on the floor and made Blake look like Stephen Curry. And WTF was Bonner thinking leaving Jamison open that many times in the 2nd half?
On another note, that Lakers-Houston game is going to be epic. Foregone conclusion that Pop is sitting the guys tomorrow vs GS, conceding the win to them. So if the Rockets lose to the Lakers on Wednesday, they will drop to the 7 seed and play the Spurs. If they win, the keep the 6th seed (vs Denver) and break Laker fan's heart. A lot on the line in that game.
brent barry didnt need to do to wait for karma to come along
My guess Utah loses at least one game before then ...
So that game may not matter much and besides Rox may want some of that spur easy work tbh ...
Killa beat me to it.
GS and Houston BOTH want Denver over SA, who are playing without Gallo and a limping Ty Lawson. With the exception of Diaw, Spurs will have all their pieces back for the playoffs and have the playoff experience over Denver. Denver still lacks a star to turn to in crunch time.
Ask Vanessa, she did.
True dat ...but if you double Duncan maybe neither do the Spurs ...
And you expected those facts to irritate me, as if I'm some deluded homer "who believes," and won't accept the cold hard truth about the Spurs being an average team right now.
He's cool. It's refreshing to see a Laker fan who doesn't have Kirby's jammed up his ass 24/7, such as yourself.
Doubling Duncan is EXACTLY what the Spurs HOPE teams do, as he's one of the best at passing out of double teams. Not to mention the Spurs have plenty of shooters who will get wide open shots thanks to the double teaming and rotating defenses. With Denver, they don't have anyone you have to double, so your defense can stay at home and help on penetration. Plus, with Gallo out and Lawson limping, Denver doesn't have many 3pt shooters to worry about. Chandler is the only healthy guy shooting over 35%. Whereas every non-post player on the Spurs except Cory Joseph shoots better than 35% from 3.
None of that appears to be the case lately especially on the road ....
Denver even injured has played better than the Spurs the past 25 games heck, Lakers have too
Did the Lakers double Duncan often tonight? No... Have the Spurs played with a full squad the last month? No... They will have their horses back for the playoffs. Not saying they'll win the 'ship (it's still the Heat's to lose), but Spurs will take care of business in the 1st rnd and probably the 2nd (especially if they draw the Clippers again). I know you're pissed about the season of injuries the Lakers have suffered through, capped off by the Bryant injury and the trolling of us Spur fans about it, but don't let that cloud your judgement, killa.
Personally, I hope the Spurs draw the Rockets. Proximity to San Antonio, poor defense, and they don't have anyone who can neutralize Duncan (Asik has struggled vs Duncan this year) GS can give Duncan problems with Bogut (if he's healthy) and Curry and Jack are a nightmare for the Spurs guards. I think we beat the Rockets in 5, but GS could take us to 6 or 7 games.
im not happy with the fake ass leaders return on the squad, KL was nowhere to be seen ever since the **** came back...fck that
I was just saying in another thread you guys are overly depressed I think Duncan will eat the Rox front-court alive ... but Harden will be a problem the other way ...you play KL on him and he will be in foul trouble all series long. Key for Rox will be Lin if he outplays Parker (injured or not) or even keeps it close you guys are at least looking at a 6 or 7 game series ...
watch the game, the guys who do the lakers feed seems excited about KL potential, they kept on talkin him up....
MWP easily blowing by lockdown defender/Kobe stopper Kiwi Leo
MWP dunking on DPOY candidate TOSB jim
i havent jumped out of my seat my times this year, but that was nooooooiiiiiiiiceeeee
Peace: 3-10 for 8 points. 0-5 from 3 in 29 minutes.
Earl: 0-2 for 2 points in 19 minutes.
Sounds locked down to me.
Kawhi could've played better offensively, though. But he made your starting SF rotation themselves.
Come on bro, all Spurs playmakers are/were injured.
