Much more common than 40+ parents, is young parents who are diseased with obesity, or moms who smoke and drink before/during pregnancy. The sperm and ovum are less than healthy, and kids of obese mothers can show problems throughout life.

not true at all. kids born with genetic defects often need very expensive care throughout their lives, special education, etc. Those costs spread across insurance companies or tax payers.
I'M okay with women having children when they are old, but if incest is prohibited because of the higher possibilities of a genetic condition, we should prohibit this.
What a dumbass argument, tbh.... a democratic-republican government such as ours has no business dictating what we can and can't do with our own bodies, and quite frankly, if you're stupid enough to have kids at an advanced age, you have to deal with the consequences...

a much bigger problem is that people have less kids now and old people live a lot more. As medicine continues to develop, the richer will continue to live longer and society will stagnate. Pull the plug on them by age 100!
