2nd seed team tanking? what happen?
Do we tank to avoid the Nuggets? I mean they only 4-0 us this season, but you other rocketfans swear we match up better
Or do we whoop the Lakers and hope Utah win their next 2 (with a hopeful memphis tank) so Lakers are out of the playoffs?

Play to ing win. While I'd rather them play the Spurs and make De Colo, Bonner, Green, Neal beat them, it doesn't really matter who they play, they aren't getting past the first round. Though regular season records don't mean jack in the playoffs. They were a projected top 5 lottery team so they really don't have any pressure on them.
I say the Rox have a puncher's chance if the 3's are falling. Asik will have to make Timmy work though ...
Lin will also have to be consistent ... I say Spurs would win in 6 but Spurs are not healthy ...neither is Denver but Nuggs are playing better ball right now
Lin and word "consistent" don't really go together although he's been pretty good of late.
Definitely Lin would be the xfactor, Asik could be a tough matchup for Duncan but you've got to figure Pop would adjust. Terrence Jones shouldn't be slept on either.

Would rather the Lakers miss the playoffs tbh, for Dwight purposes, but their inclusion in the playoffs would maket it more exciting. If it was the Clippers or Memphis locked into that third spot, I would be all for winning. Denver is too deep and high.
It would be better for the rockets if tjones was the starter and Smith went back to being asik's backup. Jones is e truth. The next Carl Landry, with better handles and range. He was a great shot blocker in college too and is starting to show it more. Isiah Thomas is a little guy but Jones knocked him to the ground with that block yesterday.
Jones has potential to be alot better than Landry. He just makes plays.
The Rockets would much rather play a banged-up Nuggets team than a banged-up Spurs team, I'm sure. They're going to go all out on Wednesday. Let's see if Utah wins tonight to keep things interesting.

That's literally all Landry did his rookie year. He was phenomenal.
