Wow, stop ing ragging on Kobe's injury. This is getting a bit ridiculous. I know most of us don't like Kobe, but constantly ripping on his injury is not good at all.
Spurs, apart from TD are playing like total . Give the Lakers props for the win, move on, and get on the Spurs for their piss poor play. I am disgusted at what Tim still has to do for this team, while everyone else plays like crap. If TP is healthy, then that was one of the most gutless performances I have ever seen. TD is still great, the rest of them need to get their heads out of their asses. That kind of play is unacceptable.
LOL Injury card? Lakers minus their starting back-court and back up center, MWP playing two weeks after knee surgery but that is the excuse you want to roll with?
LOL indeed. That was a pitiful performance from the Spurs and some fans are trying to make excuses? What a joke.
I don't really get on the opposing team unless I felt we were ripped off, but apart from that, most of the time, I will get on my team about poor performances. This particular game was all to do with the Spurs (apart from TD) being total . Nothing more, nothing less.
It's all good Ice, I'm being an ass because of all the wishing Kobe injury rhetoric this weekend. This was just a regular season game for the Spurs and meant much more to the Lakers I get that. But Spurs do have concerns but as long as Timmy plays like last night and hopefully you get back Manu I still think a WCF run is possible I just dont think it's a legit contender ... but my teamw as barely a playoff team before Kobe got hurt. Ill enjoy this win for just a little longer but know my season is over even if we make the playoffs soon enough no matter who we play.
Pretty much this.
It's why I find it hilarious that Killa is trying to "rub it in" as if we're going to stand up for the Spurs and defend that garbage performance. But I understand his motive. He's looking to burn Spurs fans anyway he can after The Achilles, because he's salty about how we laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed...
I dont deny Mid, that was the initial fun ... but I expected Dwight and hope Pau would step up ...but Steve Blake?! STEVE BLAKE?! It's like that game I attended at the AT& T when Kobe did his big balls dance after a dagger then Fisher fouled Roger Mason (and we lost) the crap I heard leaving that building ...But I get it or heck it's like .4 or the Dfish 3point playoff barrage (2001 IIRC) when it comes from a role players putting in work it's just more fun to needle the other fan base.
Nice of you to figure that out when I admitted that two posts earlier ...still doesnt change Stevie B going choo-choo on Tony P

Did you call this for real?!
Yes but being humble is the Kemp way so that's what I'll be![]()
And the reason we're gloating about the Achilles is because we've been waiting for some bad luck to go against the Lakers for awhile now. Everything has gone your way for over a decade now. From Duncan going down in '00 (not saying the Spurs would've beaten the Lakers, but they did sweep them a year prior, so the Lakers' road was definitely easier without the champs being able to defend), to reloading with Malone and Payton, to .4, to trading Shaq for Odom/Butler/Grant, which should've been a playoff team, but the injuries the Lakers had that year wound up being a blessing in disguise since it led to the drafting of a player who became the 2nd best center in the league; to the Gasol heist, to trading Bynum for Howard, the former who wound up being injured for the entire year. Lakers always seem to dodge a bullet, even when things look bleak, so us "haters" are happy to finally see the Lakers suffer a little bit.
That said, I wish the injury had happened to Howard. My Kobe hatred is because of his fans and out of "rivalry" hate, but I legitimately think Dwight Howard is a clown.

Still not sold on him tbh ... but we shall see he has a chance to step up. This last game ... and playoffs will determine a lot for me.
Wasn't too upset about the loss.
Was terribly disappointed with this got team's continued level of play.
Duncan was in beast mode again, and again he had no help
I was talking about Spurs play in the last month...Not this game...
