I'm nitpicking because the word "tragedy" implies a disaster with impersonal causes, like a hurricane or a plane crash. I don't like the way the word is applied toward even acts of evil and malice like this one.
Just making an observation. I'll drop it and not hijack.
You can see the smoke cloud from the second explosion too.
we let the KKK operate with impunity for decades killing men, women, and children in the most heinous of ways now all of sudden terrorism is a big deal..I wonder why?
yay lets just keep speculating. just stfu until we know.
If we're comparing videos, Fox has a pretty good shot of both explosions from the media bridge.
Damn WTF![]()
lol gtfo da 20th cent
all of you in this thread so appalled are massive pusssies...none of you volunteered for war

At least we know thispegos safe. After his first marathon, he didn't wanna run another one again.
You can make a bomb that makes white smoke at home.
The tweet you quoted didn't use the word "tragedy." A mass murder can indeed be tragic.
Thanks for reminding me why I hate you.![]()
The vatican controls the color of smoke at every conclave.
According to a friend on facebook, cell phone service in Boston has been cut to prevent further detonations. Not an official word, of course, but likely true.
yep
OFFICIAL: CELLPHONE SERVICE SHUT DOWN IN BOSTON

Probably the muslims or anti-gun nuts, tbh.
thanks for confirmation maxi
There is an official word on this. It has been cut.
**nevermind**
You knew that comment was aimed personally at you....btw how's Maria and the boys. Give her my best if you can...![]()
To nitpick your nitpicking, the most proper use of "tragedy" is within a literary and/or dramatic context. Real world events can be tragic, but only plays, novels, and epic poems can be tragedies.
I agree with the decision not to hijack the thread, though, so I won't pursue the tangent any further. Just figure if someone's going to nitpick it's best to go all the way with it.
hiding...I posted my pic all over this site..if you want me..come get me...just make sure you're prepared to go all the way...
