Bruno and Harlem hit the nail on the head. No matter what you think of McGrady, I'm not sure how you could criticize this. Not when you consider the predicament they were in and the alternatives. He was easily the most talented big SF/small ball PF, with experience, available. No, he can't guard Durant/James (I think he's more Diaw insurance than anything), but if you think they were going to play McGuire, who literally can't shoot threes at all, against either, then you don't know Pop very well.

I know everybody is scoffing right now, but I will be quoting this when he really helps the spurs out. The pro with Tmac is his playmaking ability and getting others great shots, in a system like the spurs he is perfect. When you have Ginobili playing like crap and not doing anything like the beginning of this season T-Mac is actually an upgrade.

Steal by the spurs, even though the "First round curse" haunts him. I do not like this at all if we have to play you guys.
