My buddy's works for the company that sold the Cryo Station to the Spurs. Supposed to be pretty spectacular.
Nice! I wonder what it feels like...

Surprised McGrady isn't playing tonight just to see what he's got left. He sure looks good in those shooting videos. I guess he's just getting a crash course with the coaches and players for now.

Good sign Manu will play. If he wasn't healthy enough Pop wouldn't be fooling around.
I don't get why they wouldn't stick him in in the last regular season game instead of a playoff game first.

Exactly. I'm pretty damn sure he'll get mid-late 4th quarter minutes...

I've done this through marathon training. The first time, it feels strange. You are only in there for 2 and a half mins to avoid hypothermia. You step in with shorts and gloves and socks only. Initially, it's like stepping into a freezer naked. The machine fires up, and you rotate a half turn ever 30 seconds. When you get out, it's like you're completely rejouvanated. Great for athletes after a long workout and helps recoup quicker when you're injured.

Manu probably won't get much burn. Just a little feeler to see if he's ready to go for the playoffs.

good, let's hope he doesn't break a bone during the shoot around.

on the bright side, Amused didn't create the game blog so hopefully he is going to be fine

I hope he's evaluated his game during his injury and seen how horrible he's played. He needs to stop forcing things and committing constant turnovers

They're saving him so he can have his emotional "welcome back to the NBA introduction" in the playoffs. The adrenaline from that is good for a few points and some inspired play.

Serious. He's really cost us some leads/games this year. Really can't have that going forward with the playoffs and all.

There is absolutely no good reason to risk it.

One game will not get manu in any groove.

Manu is not a rookie that needs "practice" to "be ready" for the playoffs.

Absolutely no in reason to play him.

Manu wants to play and test his hamstring. See how healthy it is in a game setting. If he gets hurt it has nothing to do with Pop.

why can't he test it in the more controlled environment of the next 2 or 3 full contact practices?

I am both excited and paranoid for Manu's return. I'm excited because it's MANUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm paranoid because I don't want him to get hurt.

But, if he's going to get hurt again he might as well get hurt now so we can prepare rather than later, tbh.

Hope Manu does well. I'm setting my expectations low, though.

    I'm expecting 2-11 FGs, 3 assists and 5+ turnovers.

I see what you mean, but if his hamstring gets injured tonight, isn't it fair to say it would just get injured game 1 of the playoffs?

Sheesh, how many minutes are you expecting him to play?
