I gotta admit, I'm sad we didn't see more Baynes this year. We could have used him big time come playoff time. Even more so with Diaw being out. Even for just 10 minutes. Pop handcuffed himself with this one.

Except during that 10-0 run, the Spurs have looked like crap. That's probably why they are angry.

It would be encouraging to see them pick up their level of play in the 2nd half.

Yep, sit the Big 4, but keep Green out there. Guy is in a slump something fierce.

that's what he has to do, be the tp we all know, the j-s are nice when they fall, but mostly he needs to go to the rim..
Yeah but this game is totally atypical. We're being treated like OKC tonight, and you know this isn't going to carry over to the playoffs.

If this was the playoffs, we'd have maybe 12-14 FTA by now - not 19.

And Minny would probably have a few more. They have 9 right now.

Why would minny have more free throws in the playoffs and we would have less

Not Minny per se, but whoever our opponent is. We've received overly beneficial reffing tonight, and Minny has been robbed of a trip or two to the line.

Minny's been taking a tin of jumpers while Tim and Tony have been getting fouled in the paint.

I just hope Tony is feeling fine and its a confidence issue. I mean coming back from a bad ankle sprain and all of a sudden running into the paint full speed ahead with everybody trying to block you and all those feet down there can take awhile to adjust to without thinking about it. Just hoping that's the problem and it's totally understandable if it is.

Was wondering the same thing. I would think 15 or so would get it done.
Well he's at 9. Can't imagine he plays big minutes so hope he gets a ton in a short amount of time lol

Ummmm no. Except for Barea taking it to the hole a couple times, all they've been doing is shooting jumpshots...

Pop appears to have solved the backup PG problem by having CoJo bring the ball up the floor and letting Manu create. This is great for a number of reasons:

    1. De Colo is out of the rotation
    2. Pairing De Colo and Manu would be redundant
    3. CoJo's on-ball pressure coupled with Manu's creating makes the 2nd unit more potent both offensively and defensively

They all count the same when they go in. Some jump-shots (threes) even count more!

i think he'll only play if leonard gets injured in the PO
Yeah if we're to give Pop's shootaround interview a lot of emphasis, it doesn't sound like Tmac will be seeing much (if any) playing time in the playoffs. He also sounded like he was grossly out of shape. He kept emphasizing how he was resigned to not be signed this season and that he was "relaxing" on the couch since February.
