There's no rhyme or reason to saying the person who wins the 1st game will win the series.     Kobe's legacy takes a hit if they end up making a run in the postseason. It'll pretty much be confirmed he was holding this team back. Kobe knows it too, so he'll be sure to sabotage during his sideline coaching sessions.

    negative....it was the league holding the Lakers back. Notice since Kobe went down the refs are barely calling fouls on Dwight..they're allowing him to play more physical and sending him to the free throw line...basically letting him play defense they way he's used to...when Kobe was playing they wouldn't give Dwight . It shows they didn't want us to succeed with Kobe and Dwight

    I do recall years ago asking this chic if she could take 5 gallons of and she whispered back that she would certainly try...I then asked her how would she clean all that up and again she said it didn't matter as long as she could feel 5 gallons....
