I always advise people to avoid the riverwalk imo. a couple weeks ago, I think one of our local weather guys said he was walking along it and saw dead fish floating in there. it really is an eye sore
LOL, there's a Mexican restaurant I love to eat at about 4-5 blocks away from the Riverwalk, so some times I'll just go take a walk down there after eating. I always want to grab the tourists by their ing necks and ask them why they're coming to see a ty green river lined by really bad restaurants. I mean SA is a cool place to live since virtually everything is cheap as , but just don't see the tourist appeal at all.

that's the only reason I'm here: cheap to live and family is here. I plan on moving back north where there are 4 actual seasons and you don't have to worry about water or mexicans imo.
and it's not touristy. I've had multiple friends come down here, visit the alamo, visit the riverwalk, then ask what else is there. unless you wanna hang out with a bunch of fatties at fiesta texas or the whales at sea world, there isn't anything to do. yet these mongoloids that have lived here their whole lives and haven't gone anywhere think it's the best place to livePERIOD dumbasses

son the same exact thing can be said about Baton Rouge. I swear I have some friends who think this place is such a wonderful city and nothing else compares. its quite comical actually. if it wasn't for LSU then no one would know anything about this place. fortunately I am not tied down here and I travel a lot. I still own a small place in BR, but once you get out and see the rest of the country then that is when you realize just how "third rate" places like San Antonio and Baton Rouge truly are.

i don't really mind Mexicans. i don't want them taking over the joint, but I don't mind them being a minority of the population either. sure there's a lot of Mexican women that are horrid, but every time I've gone down to SA, i've seen some light skinned mixed type that is amazing looking.

I don't understand why players wouldn't want to be here. there's a lot better options, but there's a lot worse to. I'd personally live in Austin and just drive down an hour to SA to practice or play. i'm sure as a baller you could easily scoop up lots of CoEd pussy like it was nothing, help them with their student loans I saiiiidddddd.

my biggest problem with the South in general is the humidity can get bad at times, and i hate large ass roaches, but it seems like this is a problem throughout the south during bad seasons. I hear they even have these mother ers in places like New Mexico which is dry as balls.

btw scro, what part of the north you from?

It wasn't a joke though. Just thought he might have went up and wondered what that looked like up on that platform.

    Relax, HI.

I'm from SA. When I was in the chair force, I lived in northern japan, Utah, and Idaho. I've also made tons of pitstops all over the world and that experience taught me just how completely ty SA is. About the only thing this place has going for it is the food but that's it. BR's right, once you leave your local area and see how good everywhere else is (cept for detroit, north korea, etc), you'll really have no reason to come back except for family or whatever. I can't stand the heat now that I've experienced 4 real seasons imo

so you think Utah or Idaho are better than SA? i've only visited Utah, have visited other states in that area. it's definitely colder, drier, but Utah is ing weird because of the Mormons.

I've lived all over growing up, family in SA and visited often. like I said, I don't see what is so ty about it other than it can get hot, humid and Mexicans if that's not your thing. plus those ing waterbugs, but like i said that's the Southwest. do you even hate Austin as well or is less Mexicans etc...?

I'm not saying SA is where I want to retire, but i think it's got some culture, charm to it. ideally i'd rather live in Northern California, Virginia, somewhere i've been before.

it's more about the climate for me. I like cooler weather. I like having water fall from the sky more than once every few months. I enjoy green plants and green grass and green everything instead of the scorched earth we get in SA 10 months out of the year.

Utah wasn't bad and the mormons I met seemed decent enough. all the chicks are in hot as but the guys are ing re s, so they're easy to bypass. and Idaho is just open country tbh; you can do pretty much whatever you want. pretty much an outdoorsman's wet dream

in the states, I'd want to live in the northwest. I spent a week or so around there and it was pretty awesome tbh. no real opinion on Austin as I never spent much time there.

to be fair, i was only in SLC for a weekend. I really loved the weather, just dry and cool, my style. the Mormon thing bothered me. I'm not against Mormons or any religious people, unless they want to blow me up (shoutout to lefty). it's just the Mormons give SLC a strange Omega Man vibe, I can't describe it. plus the beer is like 2% by law IIRC, and that don't fly with me. I like beer strong as so I don't have to be bloated all day.

but in all honesty I'd like to check it out some other time. I dug the weather. The women were attractive, which doesn't mean I'll be getting my wet, but female scenery is always a plus.

scro, don't you live in Houston? i consider that tier than SA. i'm sure there's a lot more to do and the hookers are probably more varied than the stuff that's been brought across the border, but Houston ain't my thing.

I thought SA had decent rainfall, i guess i was wrong. it has some green though, relatively speaking. least it's part of the Hill Country. Austin has the Greenbelt and I consider it more interesting than SA. surprised you never spent much time there. if I remain in Texas, Austin would be ideal, but so many mofos have moved there it's not quite the same tbh. DFW is too corporate for my tastes, but there is still a possibility I end up there. I want to check out the Northwest more than I have, other than Northern Cali, I haven't been up there.

I dug Virginia a lot as a kid, but no friends or family there anymore. it has 4 seasons so I know the feeling, when I moved to Texas in the middle of a bad summer I wasn't too happy tbh. But i've adapted somewhat. I like both SA and Austin but i realize they aren't the end all be all, tbh I have no ing clue where i'll end up.

Question: How many Laker fans on this site actually live in L.A.? I'm seriously curious and I hope you would be honest about it.

a few other things to mention... Barkely is probably hanging out around the river walk... There are always fat es there. you hit up the right spots, and you can find some hotties.

second, since there are so many fat es around, its easy to get a quick when you want to bust a load, no fishing or game required. , one of the easiest things to do in S.A. is get laid... start talking to the hot chick in a group of fatties, one of them will surely get all arguementive, that's when you strike and talk to that instead and your sure to get some... String that along and either the hot friend will bite or you got yourself a sure for the night. Yeah, there are some nasty fatties in S.A. but most are not as obese as Barkley would like to make you think.

If I ha to give odds for hotties vs fatties in S.A. it would probably be 2/6... meaning, chances are, if you see a group of 6 chicks, at LEAST 2 of them will be hot. You buy the group a few rounds, your pretty much guaranteed to hit something.

San Antonio is actually a pretty damn good place to live, but it gets boring as quick. The best thing about it is that you're pretty close to other like Austin, South Padre Island, and really only a day or two drive from either coast. I do agree that the Mexicans can be a pretty bad drawback.

I live in LA county but was raised in South Central Los Angeles and I still visit the city of Los Angeles often, just about every weekend.

I have a friend that moved to San Antonio a few years ago. I have never been to San Antonio but of course I jump on anything bad about that city that I hear about. My friend said that it is true about a lot of Fat women in San Antonio but he said that it is getting better. He said when he first got there it was nothing but really big women but he's now found areas where you can find decent, not overweight women.

LOL at wanting to move somewhere else to have 4 actual seasons. That's BS. Who the wants to deal with driving in snow up mountains and ?

SF was pretty cool. I wouldn't mind staying there. Places I went to in Florida (Orlando, Miami, etc.) were cool. Dude is from the SOUF and cold weather is not for me.

    lol

driving in snow isn't hard; pretty simple to do tbh. I dunno where you got the mountains though; even if you were driving up and down them on a daily basis, that isn't hard either if you know what you're doing.
