After the horrible season he just had he hasn't proved yet.
Horrible and injury ridden season are two completely different things, guy.

Doesn't matter what the source of the problem is, what matters is that the problem is there and has been there all season. One game with limited minutes has proven very little.

There are many times when he's doubtable.
if you've been following over the years, you should know that every time you think manu can't, he does

Meh, he didn't have a great season by his own standards, but he still pretty much tied Kawhi as third leading scorer in a 57 win team. His role just isn't to score 20 a night anymore, just get everyone involved.

Like I said, I would rather lose with Mr. Ginobili on my team than win without him. He is a true warrior.

I love manu and hope that he consistently produces this playoffs, but we could just as easily create a thread en led "don't ever doubt Matt Bonner"

True to a point. I thought the offense moved better with him in the game, the offense again bogged down and it was more one pass and shoot which has killed them lately.
When Ginobili comes in, hes able to draw almost a little more attention than others to the point where when he moves the ball the offense loosens up.
All that said, this is a 20 point route if Duncan and Leonard make their open shots that they usually make.

in what context? being good for one game in the playoffs? yeah good call, to the best of my memory there has always been at least one game in the playoffs where he was good
As in this is a great sign, I mean he is just coming off of a torn hamstring missed 9 straight games before playing 12 minutes in a meaningless game and comes in a pivotal game 1 of the playoffs and made a big impact.

For contrast, Kobe had a 'great season'... how's that working out for him in the playoffs? Injuries suck, but they're part of the game. Let's just hope everyone stays healthy for us during the big dance.

LOL Manu fanboys getting happy way too soon.

Lets at least wait until the next game to see how he plays.
I expect inconsistent play from Manu.

Manu Ginobili is the closest thing to the second coming of Christ. He was dead during the regular season. But he is risen. rejoice.

Will Manu be able to get a 30 point game this series? If he can, I hope he does not have to.

In the playoffs he did multiple times:

    04-05: 20.8
    10-11: 20.6

Last season's playoffs he averaged 18ppg after averaging 12.9ppg during the regular season.

But his game has been changing from scorer to assist man. Especially since Tony has been scoring more.

Played within himself and kept the mental mistakes to a minimum, can only think of that behind the back pass to himself in transition. Glad he stepped up because Parker was way too inconsistent.
I thought that was a foul. MWP prevented him from continuing on to catch up to his own dribble. That was a big 5 point swing if I remember.

Exactly, recent history shows that Manu is pretty injury prone.

I really really hope that he can put up an injury and "contusion" free playoffs. It will go a long way to helping us have a chance. However, one good game isn't enough to erase history.

That makes no sense. You went from 'production' to being 'injury prone'.

Matt Bonner never been hurt for the playoffs, as far as I know, and he has rarely, if ever, upped his game for the playoffs (last game notwithstanding).

Truth be told, Manu wasn't hurt last season and he didn't put together a good series until the WCF (we didn't need him either).

Injuries are a completely different thing altogether. Nobody wants to be injured. Not Manu, not Tony, not Kobe, not Gallinari. It's just part of the game. If it happens, it happens.

All you can hope for is that while they're healthy, they're producing at a high level.
