If all things are equal, and there is an option to place a child in a home with loving parents. You place the child in a home with a mom and a dad. Give the kid a normal world to grow up in, you don't place the child in a home with a gay couple. Not saying a gay couple can't raise a child, as we know they do it all the time just saying why not give the child a mom and a dad if possible.
My son can talk to me about stuff he'd never tell his mom about, my daughter talks to her mom about things she'd never talk to me about. You know what I'm talking about.
