1) Trade for a center coming off back surgery
2) trade for a 38 year old point guard with back problems: give him a 3 year contract
3) run your 1 durable star into the ground because he needs to play 48 minutes a game just to squeak into playoffs
4) bench scrubs suddenly getting hurt because they're thrown ino getting big minutes they're physically unprepared for

Happy bday to the greatest to ever do it at his position...Timmy D

LA we on our way
Even their bench guys have had injuries throughout the year and they do play that many minutes. Injuries were to be expected for that roster due to age/mileage on their core guys but the amount of injuries they've had to their entire roster cons utes as unlucky in my book.
Again, i don't feel sorry for them at all but you can't look at their injury list this season and not think they've been unfortunate.
Earvin Magic Johnson @MagicJohnson6m
Laker Nation: With Steve Nash & Steve Blake down with injuries there's no way the @Lakers have a chance to win.

Laker Nation: These injuries happen, especially when you have an older team.
Funny, just a couple weeks agi Magic picked the Lakers to beat the Spurs in the first round. How quickly times have changed.
Magic is the ing worst tbh.
Yep no excuses for not sweeping them now...actually puts a little more pressure on them tbh
Red Mamba makes love to pressure! Spurs in 4.![]()
Maybe being a moron is the secret to beating the HIV.
The excuse train from the media has been unbearable the last couple of days but I'll take it. Spurs can sweep the Lakers and rest up while Denver and GS slug it out over 6-7 games.

^ this
rumor has it Nash about to deliver Dwight's 7th bas child![]()
I would have some sympathy but:
1. It's the Lakers.
2. The Spurs have been dealing with injuries all season.
3. The Spurs have had much better teams than the current Lakers squad derailed by injured.
4. If the roles were reversed, the storylines would be how the mighty Lakers overcame the overrated Spurs. Not "Injuries
"
5. FTL
Magic should give Nash a blood transfusion.
Hopefully the Spurs take it to the Lakers tomorrow like it's a elimination game, and put them out of there misery.
He'll hit 100 then tbh.
Indeed.
Ending their season will be glorious no matter how many players they are missing.
Is that his caregiver?
naw. a hobbled player is 9 times out of ten worse than the back up unless the hobbled player is Duncan/Lebron, Etc.
id rather we play against the hobbled player. i miss Nash
No, that's Owen.
Owen Two.
