Hey by playing tough against us, he might be trying to show Pops what hes got so he'll trade for him or ge him with free agency.
I hate all things Laker, and recall Blake going "tough guy" on us a couple years ago which was even more annoying.
However, how bad would we be beating the Lakers without that guy? He has really come to play our last 3 games against them. In fact, he dominated TP in that last regular season game and has really not fallen off in the playoffs. He's showed much tenacity, quickness, and those frequent tie ups in heading off TP drives have been impressive. On offense while he's not much of a playmaker, he can definitely shoot, score, and doesn't fear the moment in the slightest. He made some tough threes and other shots to keep the Lakers in the game at critical points.
So I will conclude by saying this is one tough little bastage who has earned my respect. Anyone who has quite that much game, compounded with the horrid look featuring a buzz cut and incredibly large bulging side-forehead vein, can be considered a success at annoying the opponent in a meaningful way. If he was a bigger guy I might even offer a higher compliment and call him a "goon." Perhaps "mighty mite" would be more fitting.
Stevie, if you were on our team I might even like you!

I don't know. With all the attention Spurs give to the LA bigs, little guys are bound to shine.
He's just barely a backup PG talent barely, I'd say he's more of a solid 3rd string talent at the NBA level. Of course that's good enough to start for the Lakers![]()

Blake been pretty accurate specially when open unlike Danny Green whos a mental midget
Blake's a solid backup point in the NBA. Not a starter though
YES I remember Jax walking up to him and checking him after a foul on Manu, he said to Manu hold there and went up and talked to mr stevie! I loved that gif someone had here in their sig! Blake is a decent backup PG though, just hate him at times.
I remember him being solid source of defense and 3's with the Blazers. That's why the Lakers got him.
As long as the Spurs don't get chicken pox it's all good
SB is shooting 42% on 3Gs this season, career best, no fluke.
he's a better PG than any Spur outside of TP
Meh. If Parker was even close to 100%, blake wouldn't stand a chance.
He looks like the midway point of an evolution chart.
Agree. Very Solid backup.
He doesn't around and is pretty trill himself.
