What are you talking about? They drafted possibly the best center in the entire draft late in the 1st round while stockpiling a ton of later picks. This draft couldn't have gone any better honestly. We're shaping up to have one of the best lines in the league next season!

When you say "stockpiling" you must be confused with the trade NE made right before the Cowboys did.
Jerry Jones ed us again by reaching for a need instead of drafting the best available. The ing moron skipped out on Elam and Floyd, both needs as well with better overall talent available at 18 and 31 respectively. Jerry has the nerve to say 'DE is a position we felt is a strength".. Not sure what this fool expects from Jay Ratliff/Hatcher, not to mention two LB's being asked to play in a different scheme in Ware and Spencer.
Jerry Jones proving that he's one step ahead of all the GM's in the league. This man is a wheeler dealer on draft day and he really know how to pick em'. All those people that claim football genius Bill Parcells is the reason for the Cowboys mediocre success in the last decade don't realize that Jerry was the one pulling the trigger. Jerry was the one who wrote those checks. Thank God we have an owner who understands professional football.
