What do Gino Smith, Manti Teo and I have in common? None of us were drafted yet tonight!!
I could see them moving back a couple of picks. Most of their top targets are still on the board. They may just move up in the second, though.

A few good inside linebackers are still on the ball. If the Ravens get one of Te'o, Minter or Brown, they'll be a receiver away from filling all of their holes.
good job trading back![]()
Saw another tweet that an AFC scout, in reference to the Cowboy's pick, texted Rapoport "Yuck"![]()

We end up with a slow, 2nd round rated center at the end of the 1st ...
I hate my team ... smh
Exactly we got less for 18 then you guys got for your pick ...
And we took a CENTER!!!!
IF Floyd is a stud Im goona be pissed!!!!
Needed speed and playmakers.
Added Tavon and Ogletree...and we still have 6 more picks on day 2 and 3.
It was a good day.![]()
Frederick will play either C or G. Can't really complain with getting line help I guess. Bernadeau was pretty damn awful last year.
Cook and Costa have been equally unimpressive as the starting centers.
the cowboys reached with the pick. they should have taken the best player available and got that frederick guy in the 3rd like he was graded. hope this doesn't turn into the '09 draft.
it is obviously wrong to predict this early, but imho the winners of the draft are
1 Jaguars - they got the highest rated player in the draft and their intended qb will be on the board when they select in rd 2
2 49ers - they got the player they wanted and got it for a really cheap price
3 steelers - seriously, how lucky can this team get?
and the losers are:
1 Cowboys -they got owned soooo bad, and considering the amount of picks the 49ers had, the cowboys had all the leverage. Bad, bad, bad.
2 Jets - they took a facial by the rams and while they picked some good prospects, their offense is still ridicolous
3 Bills - they panicked and drafted a qb when there was really no need and to make it worse, they picked a pure monkeyballer that can't pass
Cardinals were one of the reaching teams, and also one of the teams needing to reach. Their guards were the primary reason the line gave up so many edge sacks, as there was immediately no pocket to step up into, so they had to go side to side, often ending in a sack.
They need to address S in 2nd and WR burner or TE in 3rd, but I think they should take one more guard in 4th/5th, and a tackle in 6th/7th.
Getting Jones back helps some, but not on inside.
Cooper is a freak athlete. I think I'd have liked Warmack, but whatever.
I actually don't think the Jets did that poorly in hindsight, tbh.... that offense needs the kind of talent at skill positions that simply didn't exist outside of WR in the first round this draft.... might as well stack the defense, then suck bad enough for Manziel or Bridgewater next year, tbh....
The Cowboys, Bills, and Raiders were the biggest losers.... I'm also not impressed by what the Pats did, their WR core is so depleted that they should have taken a chance on Patterson, tbh....
I agree with this. My criticism of the Jets is not taking Jarvis Jones when they already have Wilkerson and Couples up front......there's gonna be a nose tackle that fits their system better in the 2nd round. With Milliner, Jones, and someone like Hankins/Jenkins their defense is restacked and they can tank. It's not like drafting Tyler Eifert would have made them a playoff team this year.
Maybe New England got good value for their pick but they needed to draft a receiver who can contribute immediately, which they aren't gonna find by the time they pick again.
you not a kenny stills fan?
I don't see him being an immediate contributor, no.
Unless the Patriots' plan is to build a receiving group that gets really good after Brady retires.
