BTW, Beverly's shot was cheap to say the least. If the same would've happened to yall's important players yall would be irked about it.

Man, this ing sucks yall. We are going to have a hard time picking up the slack. Our role players rely on open jump-shots created by Russ's penetration. Per usage rate, Russ is second in the league which means we are going to have to rely on role players more than ever. Our series with the Rockets will likely go 6 games now when it should've gone no more than 5. A series with the Clippers or Grizzlies will be tough now. Kevin Durant will have to score 40-50 points to win games because I fully expect our role players to shrink at some point without having Russ to bail em out.
so u dont think they get by da clippers? lol

going for a steal being "cheap"
    sending death threats
hopped up on meth while chasing tornadoes
takes an injury to Westbrook for Durant to grow a pair

how long have you watched basketball? There was a call for a timeout on the play before Beverly began motioning to the ball. Hence, no reason for Beverly to go for the ball.

Rockets still gonna lose in the first round

How was it cheap? He went for the ball and almost got the steal.

It's a long shot Russ is back. If he's out for a couple of weeks, it'll throw off his game just a tad. Truly, it's a nightmare situation for us.

Wow, a solid take from thunderup? I agree, Westbrick's injury puts OKC in essentially the same boat as the Spurs - you're really going to need your role players, especially Kevin Martin, to step up bigtime now for another Finals run to be possible.... Durant dropping 40-50 might not even be enough if your role players are ting the bed, tbh....

IF the Clippers get past Memphis, I like our chances against OKC better now, though losing the series still wouldn't shock me, tbh.... I still don't think Memphis has a chance against OKC though, I just don't think they have nearly enough offense....

The funny thing is I've seen Westbrook do this same move to us before. Now that it happens to him, thunder fans are appalled. Beverly and Westbrook during that point of the game were going through a battle. It was great to watch as a basketball fan. I wouldn't be surprised if Westbrook is only out 1 week.

Everyone was giving the Spurs because of all the injuries we had. I thought it was good to have them early and our team to be able to adapt if other ones come up. With almost all of our players injured at some point this season they have learned to play without specific pieces if they go down. LA can't function without Kobe and now OKC won't be able to function without Chimpbrook. Clippers and Spurs in the West finals tbh.
    Oh and...
Thunder fans think Beverly caused Chimpbrooks injury.

It's pretty common for any player to go a for a steal. Even offensive players fake the timeout and go for a lay-up.

Savvy move by Bev, the play is not over until the whistle.

it was nothing like okc stealing the sonics, because okc's attempt ended in success.

Here's the deal. Obviously OKC isn't winning a le without RW but I think OKC will remain compe ive. Jackson has the highest vertical on the roster and is no slouch at taking the ball to the rim. He's no replacement for RW but I think given the starting role and being asked to be more of a playmaker will give him the opportunity to raise a few eyebrows. Obviously hate the injury but Jackson's a good kid and we will see if he can step up
