God ing damnit.
Looks like McGrady will be activated
God ing damnit.
On the other hand:
Baynes, Baynes, Baynes the name!
Officially a sprained ankle fellas! Let's hope he's back in time for the 2nd round.
JMcDonald_SAEN Officially sprained ankle for Splitter, who will not return. If Spurs can finish sweep SUN, would have a lot of time to heal before round 2.
We need to sweep these guys. This will give the Spurs over a week to rest and get ready for round two.
You guys are haters Tiago is very underatted for what he does for the spurs on the defensive end. Even though Dwight is a clown he is still the best defensive center in the league that it was unrealistic to expect Splitter to have a great series.
Gotta hope DEN-GS goes 7. Also gotta hope Diaw is ready to return by the second round.
That looks like a 2 to 3 weeker.
Will McGrady see minutes now?
Will he be tweeting game strategies to Pop?
Would you rather face DEN or GS?
More Baynes is good... Tiago will be fine for the second round anyway... didn't look that bad.
GS by a mile. Golden State can shoot but we should be able to disrupt their tempo unlike DEN.
Denver is much more balanced and matches up well with us. Especially with our bigs hobbling a bit.
Splitter will be fine imo. Just win game 4 and he'll get a solid 10 days of rest.
I thought tiago played some great d at times, against Dwight..who's probably the toughest "big" to guard in the nba with his size.
Spurfan will see how much they miss Splitter on Sunday
im pretty sure Howard missed every shot while he was being defended by Splitter
and hes giving up about 50 lbs in that matchup and probably 20 lbs of it dry muscle not lbm
good news is though it looks like GS will win this game and if they do its going at least 6
Diaw and Splitter should be back by the 2nd round then
and McGrady might finally get activated and Leonard would play the 4
It's a depressing thought thinking a wide open West might be derailed by a Tiago ankle.
This... I loved his D... but he'll be much better on O in later rounds. Baynes should be able to keep things going for game 4.
No way... Baynes is just as good... and Tiago will be back anyway.
He will be back. It did not look as serious as I thought it was on second look tbh.
A good 8-10 days and he'll be back.
LOL. You can't be serious.
He would be missed in the second round...or any round, for that matter. Comments about the warriors and nuggs not having great bigs, only makes having all hands on deck, even more important...will be nice not to have to face Dwight/pau, but not if shorthanded..
If he doesn't suit up now we may as well cut him. He'll probably only play if were up by a bunch though.
Tiago won't be needed as much in the next round tbh...
lol........
