Nope. Not at all. I play my Steam games on or offline. I purchase my , and like I mentioned previously, will not be without an internet connection anytime soon. Always on consoles might be the real inconvenience if the rumors prove true.

DRM never been a problem for pirates either, tbh
You ever hear of Tunngle? Dont even need the client servers to play online anymore..
That works for LAN type of games... if you have a DRM type of server, you're probably screwed unless somebody comes up with a server emu. But that's what cracks are for, tbh.
It's great tech though.
I prefer to play games on my PC. If there is a good game console exclusive, you can bet your ass I am getting it.
Bump(For anyone who cares). Tomorrow, Microsoft will reveal their next gen console to the public.
http://www.xbox.com/en-US/
^The xbox page will provide live stream, videos, images, updates, and more about the console. All of this will start at around 10:00am (in PDT).
wow that's alot of ugly people in one video
Underwhelming presentation. The focus was too far away from games. I think COD: Ghost was the only thing to show actual gameplay and what they showed did not match Metro: Last Light on PC.
Also, this next bit from Joystiq is a drag...."Microsoft's minty-fresh Xbox One will be unable to play Xbox 360 discs, nor will your mul ude of Xbox Live Arcade purchases transfer to the new machine." I would have rethought some of my Xbox Live purchases if I had known they would not transfer over to the next iteration of Xbox Live.
On measures to combat used game sales, Microsoft did say that if a disc was used with a second account, that owner would be given the option to pay a fee and install the game from the disc, which would then mean that the new account would also own the game and could play it without the disc.
That's incredibly ty. I'll most likely bounce back to the Playstation brand if they have any exclusives worth playing - if not, I'll stick to PC.

Well seeing as E3 is nineteen days away, they said they would show more games then.
Only thing that impressed me above anything else is the 15 exclusive les with eight of them being new IPs for the first year of the launch.
Did COD even show gameplay? I must have missed it.
edit: Oh, guess they did.
that stupid dual screen mul asking could be good if it let's you play a radio ap while playing the game
why are they calling it XBOX one? isn't this XBOX 3?
Probably meant as "one" entertainment center for your home. It's the jack of all trades and that's what they're trying to do here.
That would be cool as if they did that. Not being sarcastic here but I love playing games while listening to music/podcasts... specifically playing sports games. It's not a gamechanger in the least but it would be cool to have.
Eh, I wasn't too impressed with the new xbox tbh. I think I'll just stick to retro gaming.
I think the dual-tasking thing is awesome, personally. Play a game, put it on pause, let the wife watch her show, then play afterwards.
