You answered you on question in the 1st post. Intelligent. Duncan plays the game of basketball. Howard is a bull w/o skills other than dunks. 49% FT Most players would spent time during the off season trying to improve. Not Howard. When Howard gets to 37, he will not be able to jump and will be long gone from the NBA. And his will be limp too.

To be fair, Howard's prime ended a couple of years ago and he's now in the TOSB phase of his career. It's not fair to judge Duncan against such a washed up once-star.
