    The question is simple. Are we better without Westbrook? I've put out advanced statistics that highlight the importance of Russ to this team.

    We almost lost to a rookie team that should have won the game down the stretch had their coach actually coached and their players actually hit a shot.

    This thread is merely to find out what others think of our chances.

    A fellow Spurstalk re has been arguing that we might even get to the finals now that Russ is gone.

    The Heat were gonna win it all either way.

    I'm not making any excuses here. You should know that partner. Russ is hurt but if my team loses they lose. Injuries are a part of the game.

    You yourself said in another thread that we don't look right without Russ.

    I'm being realistic now. The motor that runs our train is not functional anymore. I saw glimpses of what this team will be without Russ to bail em out in junctures during the game.

    We maybe had a 20% chance of beating Miami before Russ's injury. Now that's gone down.
