Weve been blessed back to back with robinson then duncan. I hope we are fortunate enough for it to happen again.
No but I've been watching him for his whole career, so I kinda already know he's awesome.
Sometimes I end up getting into arguments with newbie basketball fans on other forums about Tim Duncan when they act all shocked then he puts up a 30 point 15 rebound game, and act like it's his best game ever of his career and a fluke. So many kids on here hate on the guy because they didn't see how he shat on people every single night for like 10 years straight before his knee problem finally caught up to him.
As good as Duncan still is now. . .just remember he was destroying people hardcore ever single night a decade ago. It's hard to imagine sometimes how he used to be even better than he is now since he's still good.![]()
I will without a doubt cry when Timmy retires and i'm not ashamed to admit it. He represents everything I like about basketball and got me into basketball. Just seeing him, Tony, and Manu on the court makes me genuinely happy
If he was on your team you surely would sit back and think!!!!!!!!!!!!! But he is not.............
Tim Duncan is a living legend.
I always think how lucky i am being a Spurs fan since 92...Experiencing the Robinson/Duncan ERA and all of the success that has followed. And lucky enough to See Robinson play in 1992, attend the 99 finals in S.A and a handful of reg season games in 2002......considering im from Australia.
Spurs till the end and proud.
Proud to be a loyal witness.
Flicked off? Lol. Flipped off.
I think that but no regarding his skills, which are awesome. I think of it regarding his conditioning and mental strength.
I can't consider Tim in a vacuum. His fantastic success has been enabled and enveloped by Pop's organization and coaching. One of the great legendary pairings.
Tim had been drafted by Boston, he would had a HoFer career and $200M+ in salary, but very probably not with the same team and long-term success.
I wish he could somehow play until he's 50. It'll be depressing when he retires no matter what his numbers are. I hope he goes out on top like Robinson at least!
It's ing disgusting how if he was wearing a Boston or LA jersey, he'd probably be considered top 3. that media BS.
You mean like this?

And would've 2 or 3 more rings
Yes I do, regularly. It's amazing that Tim has done what he has done for so long, so consistently.
100% agree
You, too, eh? I've been a Spurs fan since 1992 as well. We have been so blessed these past two decades. It will be sad when it eventually ends, but it's been a uva run.
Let's see if we can get Timmy one for the thumb this time!
GO SPURS GO!!!!!
I'm not an accomplished scientist but it seems to me that "all the world" never sleeps at the same time (unless something went really wrong with Kim Jung-Un)
The good news is that you can go sleep at peace now because there will always be someone awake to think about Tim
