I'm not actually from SA, so that ain't it. What, you think there's something metaphyiscally special about the Lakers that have made them a magnet for the best talent over the years? Or is it the weather and financial opportunities of where they happen to be located. Which is arbitrary, and which undermines to some degree their claim to intrinsic greatness.
