lol " phobe" what a pseudoscientific buzzword. Some people just don't like gays thats the way it is. Lol @ at the idea that there has to be some kind of psychological condition or that its a sign of some kind of mental abnormality. gmafb

I won't lie. I had no idea. We talked, he answered my questions, I hugged him and I digested what he had told me. At the end of the day, this is what matters: He's my brother, he's a great guy, and I want him to be happy. I'll love him and I'll support him and, if necessary, I'll protect him.
beautiful quote tbh (srs) (no )

This might just be the ammunition Timmy D needs to finally come out of his closet. Jason Collins might be a trend setter.

I thought people were born gay tho...
Depends on what you mean by "born". There's a lot more that goes into a 2 year old than just the genes they received from their parents. Lots of formative activities in the womb and in the preverbal stage of development. Read all about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biology...al_orientation

When you say "I was born that way" what you really mean is you can't remember not being that way. But most people don't start maintaining an active personal history in your brain until you're 2 or so, when you develop a cognitive self. And most adults remember little or nothing of their history befor the age of 5. So when gay people overwhelmingly say "I was born that way" they are telling the truth as they know it.

Bottom line: identical twins are more likely to have the same sexual orientation than fraternal twins or brothers, but not overwhelmingly so. Apparently factors in the womb and in early development also come into play.

No, you don't have some irrational phobia, but you do seem to have an irrational hate. People who have irrational hatreds that they believe are just fine to express and act upon are, technically speaking, dumb s.

A gay athlete coming out will never be the biggest story in the world or in sports. The biggest sports story in the world or at least in America is if the Chicago Cubs win the World Series. Chicago would probably shut down for at least a week if the Cubs ever break their curse.

And again, if being gay is normal then why is there such a big deal in American society when a famous person especially an athlete comes out as a sexual? If it's normal, then no one should give a or care. It shouldn't even be a story. This spare is probably having money problems so he figures that if he says he is a sexual then Oprah will give him a nice book and tv interview deal. It's always about money.

Considering how hard he took it up the ass from Bnner and Baynes this series, Dwight's the gay one, tbh....

I'm a rare case of a person growing up in the hood that has never been a phobe, I rarely use the word got, tbh, but , Gay rights groups have quickly taken the crown of irritation, tbh..they have surpassed PETA and feminists..

Why do we need Gay athletes to come out of the closet, tbh?..what difference does it make if the public is aware of their sexual preference and fetishes?..

If they want to spread awareness for sexuality, that's fine, but why is there so much pressure and such a demand for Gay athletes?..are sexuals planning on a global takeover, tbh?..

It's 2013, the average Gay man isn't afraid to come out of the closet, tbh..they don't need Gay athletes to influence common folks..
It's such a big deal because hopefully one day it won't be such a big deal.

Gayness should not be discussed in sports. I mean are guys discussing how many women they have ed and/or raped (Kobe, Big Ben, LT) during games?

"let's keep these dumb liberals concentrated on gay rights and the dumb cons concentrated on their gun rights. "

I just think the inevitable "wait, you don't absolutely love gays?!! Well then you're a bigot or an idiot sir!" type of stuff will get annoying. I fully support people living their life how they want and have male and female gay friends that I've known/continue to know but I have my own beliefs as well.

As long as you don't hate people or push your beliefs down their throats, you shouldn't have to celebrate their lifestyle to be open-minded and supportive.

His career was probably over before this. Now he'll probably land on the Mavs so Cuban can milk some of the exposure, IMO.

Either way, "active" is a stretch.

And dem Nets of the earlier aughts had some fun ... Collins, Jefferson, Kittles, Lucious, dat lips tattoo, etc.

tbh if a team is smart they'd sign Jason straight away (no pun) ...I'm being real with you now...fact is with him the line-up no one will want to touch that when he's posting up or if he's trying to guard you...and if an opposing player hit that upside the head his own teammates would turn on him...signing this dude could be the ultimate game changer...Rodman used to do this to Zo...and it drove Zo nuts...Zo told him once: "You're a sick mutha er"....basically Rodman would get his hard and then when Zo backed into him he askd him did he feel his meat...

Kool with the Lakers please sign Jason Collins Campaign

^this....what I'm about to say next I don't totally agree with but as a black man I can joke about it....I found it curious that Jason would start off by saying "I'm Black"...and then "I'm Gay"....because being black and gay is literally like THE worse thing a person can be....ostracized by everyone...actually being fat, black, and gay is the ultimate worse...Magic's son gets away with it because he's rich

7 points, 5TOs and destroyed by Aron Baynes.

    No excuse for that, got.

Your boy Daawhite is a mental midget of the lowest order.
I fully expect Dwight to be awesome next year...once he signs that contract...that gonna be monkey balling it up and you know it...we just gotta find a way to dump Gasol for Rondo, get Ariza back in some package deal and sign Josh Smith....am I smoking crack or what

    Kobe
    Dwight (new contract)
    Rondo
    Josh Smith
    Ariza
