Hopefully, as of now, IMO, Spurs and Heat are the two best teams in the league, and a finals between them would be downright epic. Those regular season games are indicative of . It would not be a short series either way.
I'm not saying we are the favorites, or that it will be easy. But I think there is a small chance. I believe it is possible. The Spurs just have to keep improving throughout the playoffs, and get back to that very high level they were at most of the season. This past series with the Lakers was a god sent. We were in a awful funk, now we are out and confident. Obviously the compe ion is going to get MUCH harder.
Lol, just take it one series at a time. By the time the Finals matchup is determined a lot will have changed and the outlook may be completely different ( , the heat may even get knocked off). There have been plenty of frontrunning teams get knocked off in the past. The Finals is still over a month away, relax, its still Round 1 lol
For sure the Lakers series was gift from the bball gods, good time to have a shooting slump. That was a team raped by injuries, but hopefully it was enough to build some momentum off of. As Hater keeps saying, playoffs start in Round 2. I agree with that.
