    personally, that was a really painful loss, especially because they tanked to get us and beat us down. I'm personally still pissed, and probably more pissed that they gave Gasol away for peanuts. So there is some bad blood tbh, but I don't feel like their team is a Stern sanctioned favorite, so I can't hate them too much.

    Spurs were smoke and mirrors that season and deep down I'm sure plenty of us knew it. Hated how bandwagoners popped out of the woodwork to gloat like they won a championship, but I had nothing but respect for that team.

    For what? The only West team the 2011 Spurs would have beaten in the first was New Orleans, That team was playing straight up ball the last month of the season and the opponent was mostly immaterial. They came two lucky threes from going out 4-1.
