Are you in charge of NBC's Cleveland affiliate?
Thought about starting a thread about this since this time block once housed Seinfeld and ER at the dawn of the MUST SEE TV Thursday juggernaut, but this seems like a good place for it.
While the American Office is now a worthless pile of crap, there is a one-episode spinoff of the funny version of the show on TV this week in the UK.
Meanwhile the next episode of the US version has been revealed to be March 14.
We finally get to see Dwight's brother and sister.
Is that going to be the episode that was supposed to be the pilot for the now-cancelled Schrute Farms spinoff show?
Yep but at least we finally get to see Dwight's family.
It's a given that The Office is really bad now, but god, that was easily the worst episode ever done in the series; even worse than the Will Ferrell ones.
Did they used a different technique to deliver the jokes? No camera following the family and so on?
The farm was meant to be a different type of comedy show so this might be why one may think it sucks more than usually.
Like 30 Rock in its final season, they should have just given this show 13 episodes instead of the usual 23-24. Maybe it would have been more interesting that way.
The episode wasn't that bad. I thought it was funny to see Dwight's family. And Todd Packer in with everyone one last time was funny too.
Anyone still watching this? It keeps getting worse. I dont think I even want to watch how it all ends. Lost complete interest in this .
Sure it may only have 2-3 funny moments per episode but how can you completely lose interest in everyone's fate with only like 4 episodes left? If I had to wait an entire season I'd probably be saying that too but it's so close to being over.
and speaking of these past few episodes, I've never hated Pam more and hated Jim less than I do right now. Jim's MO the entire series, including before they started dating, was to kiss her ass and make her feel special and now she wants to keep him down while he's pursuing something great
Its just the breaks. They have gone like a month in between episodes. Trying to drag this out. I lost patiance. Might catch it when they put season 9 on Netflix.
that's what ultimately killed Lost for me. I got so ing impatient I quit altogether. But like I said, what's keeping me in to this is the thought of everything soon being wrapped up
God I wish I could write the final episodes. I would have Pam divorce Jim and run off with Roy for his money. Then I'd have Carell hook back up with Jan and have Holly and Angela clamsmacking in the final scene. Would be way better than the crap they have planned with Andy's acting career and all sorts of other boring . The only show I can think of that fell off so bad was Simpsons.
Pretty good episode this week. It was nice to see Dwight finally become the manage for real. It was awesome to see Andy self destruct and go bat crazy and leave. And it was cute to see Jim and Pam be Jim and Pam again. Only 2 episodes left. I know this show has become the past 2 or 3 seasons but I will miss it.
I swear I'm gonna lose my if Pam doesn't let Jim leave for 3 months for his job after what she heard in the kitchen. Maybe they both just move out west?
and yeah, I'm gonna miss it too
Maybe if they do go out west they meet up with Michael Scott somehow?
I liked the random Spurs mention from Daryl, that was cool.
Best NBA mention was still when Jim was talking about how excited he was the Sixers got Bynum.
Why is Darryl always where Jim is? If they're both splitting their time between the same two companies, I wouldn't think it would be in everyone's interest for them to swap days, rather than for both companies to periodically cut their staff by two.
Hahaha, I remember that. He talked about him like he was actually playing.
It's best not to ask "why?" any longer with this show. A lot of head-scratchers lately.
That would be GREAT but only if Carell made a last second appearance, even just his voice over the phone or something
Pam needs to stop being a and let Tuna have some fun with that better job.
Which character went bat crazy better in your opinion: Andy or Jan?
