David Lee got a vote![]()
The full results are here.
Parker 6th seems ok since his late season injury and less than stellar comeback really killed his chances to be in the top 3.
The surprise, though, is probably Duncan at 7th before Harden, Westbrook, Wade or Curry... although he was snubbed for the DPOY (in the MVP rankings Marc Gasol finished tied at 11th--dead last--with only one fifth place vote), it's nice to see he wasn't forgotten by the MVP voters.
Duncan should be MVP. Take Duncan off of the Spurs and they would bs fighting for a 7th seed.
i can live with those results. i like how joakim noah was on the list
Did Gasol finish ahead of Duncan in MVP race?
Carmelo was 3rd in MVP voting, because people are dumb.
Dumb doesnt even begin to describe it.
I think most of you know how i feel.
somebody please out the mongoloid who voted carmelo for first place
Wtf some of these voters really need to have their votes revoked. That's ridiculous.
TP should be 3rd !
Kobe over TP and TD? Nah son....
Take CP3 off the Clips and they struggle to make the playoffs. Take Kobe away and Lakers definitely don't make it. Take Carmelo away and the Knicks are no better than the Bucks. Can say that about a lot of these guys.
These s dont matter. Predictions dont matter. What matters most is which team will be left standing first week of june.

Duncan and Parker each got two 2nd place votes. Hopefully the formatting on this comes through okay.

Just because Melo doesn't belong anywhere near the MVP award doesn't mean Jared Dudley is better than him...
Tony isn't a great defender but I would put him slightly above average as a defender. He isn't Nash, He's better than Curry on defense..... Earlier in his Career he shrunk a few times in the play-offs but last years issue is that the thunder geared their entire defense to stopping Tony and no one else stepped up. Didn't help much that every 50-50 ball and call went the thunder's way and that stuff that was a no call on one end was a reach-in on the other a few games who am I to criticize? I don't care about the future of the league and ratings the way the Commish does.
I think the Lakers make the playoffs w/o Kobe. And they have chemistry to win more than zero games. Just sayin'
lol Kobe above TD
Based on the MVP results would that mean Duncan will get the nod for 1st Team All NBA Centre?
He was the highest voted big man by far. The only other bigs with MVP votes were Garnett, Lee, Gasol and Noah all with just 1 5th place vote and i don't even see how they got those votes. I don't see how any bigman in the NBA could outdo Duncan for 1st Team honours. He is still just that damn great.
That would be quite an accomplishment for our 37 year old GOAT![]()

The guy that gave David Lee a vote has him ahead of Duncan on his all nba rankings![]()
Tim wasn't the best player on the Spurs the previous two seasons.
Media and journalists vote for MVP. Coaches vote for all-nba teams. No co-relation.
And I agree with you there, Melo is a joke IMO sides his constant chucking! Great O player with a great skillset! He is a chucker though and a ball hog! He plays no D and nor does he make a team better as in a le contender. He is not nearly an MVP but a over glorified scorer.
Garnett with vote
Melo with MVP vote
David Lee with vote
Who vote for this crap ??
What the future brings?
