The most overrated "clutch" player of this generation. Has done absolutely jack since the '05 playoffs.

No sale. I ain't gonna let Manu Kobe himself out of this . The whole play like for the entire game, hit a clutch shot, and then all is forgotten. Nah uh. Manu plays halfway decent and doesn't make stupid decisions, Spurs win this game in regulation.

That said, of a in' win. Leonard was the true hero.

Manu is a 36 year old, injury ridden player. Youre setting yourself up to be disappointed by expecting consistently good play out of him. He was arguably the best closer in the game prior to his noticeable decline though, and numbers back him up on that.

Agreed about this game but if you want we can argue about the whole "not doing jack since the '05 playoffs" stuff, tbh.

He shouldn't be taking 20 shots including couple last second shots and a very long contested 3 out of nowhere if he is playing like .

Regular season. He hasn't produced a good playoff run since '06.

But he is still an extraordinary playmaker, quite possibly the 2nd best in the league behind James. Unless he's hot and/or wide open, I'd like to see Manu keep his shots under 12 a game and just get others involved.

midnightpulp might be the most dedicated troll account of all time tbh. bashes lakerfan/kobefan all the time just to make us think he's a spurfan, then posts these wrist-slitting threads/posts all the damn time. trying to infiltrate our fanbase tbh. well done

This was a classic Kobe game from Ginobili. Leonard and Green deserve more props at the end of the game than Ginobili. Especially Green... he hit some clutch 3's and got a crucial block and steal in overtime.

He was the only one worth a in 2011 despite the shoulder injury. He was huge in the Dallas win in 2010 too despite the broken nose. Those teams just happened to suck. Playmaking is definitely his forte in the clutch and not so much shot making.

my mid was a bit haste in his post. still, Kawhi deserves the most credit from saving us from Ginobili's abysmal performance.

Pop's quote at teh presser says it all tbh. Ginobili deserves his recognition, but damn he was pure throughout this game. Kawhi and Parker bailed us out big time.

Anyhow, fellow Spurs fans, not submitting to ownage bumps tonight. Manu was awful outside of one big play and I'm not going to be results oriented and forgive him for his terrible game (at least shooting wise, he was fantastic passing tonight).

But feel free to ownage bump me if Manu turns in a great game 2.
