YES!! He was barely getting minutes prior to that game, nothing was going well that game. He got a chance and never looked back since. TJ Ford led us that game too when Parker was ting the bed.
If I remember correctly, wasn't it against the Warriors that Green broke out against? Not offensively, but defensively.
Manu was injured, and Neal got limited minutes after coming back from his appendectomy. Ellis was torching SA on our home court, in stepped Green who proceeded to lock him down.

"His late defense on Monta Ellis was a key reason the Spurs were able to escape with a 101-95 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday at the AT&T Center.Ellis did torch the Spurs for a season-high 38 points, but he was limited to 4-for-11 shooting in the fourth quarter when Green clamped down on him. Ellis missed five of his last seven shots."
If it wasn't for Green SA loses this game and that streak against the GSW is gone, it was also a game I think helped solidify Green's role on the team. Green saved the Spurs' asses once again last night, cheers to Green.

Green is turning his playoff rep (small sample size) in the right direction.
Green has always been more reliable on D than O, even if he's not a lockdown defender.
He's a streaky shooter, tbh.
