Yes they are. The GSW are a diamond in the rough. The spurs are getting a lot of love from the media due to their illustrious history, but I do feel that GSW will win this series.
timvp did I miss something why avatars and sigs are gone?

The Spurs know the method to win its just that they are as stubborn as Pop and keep running the same crap.. No double teams, run them off the 3 but most importantly "HIT SHOTS" missed FT's and missed 3's and easy lay ups
Dude, GSW has been doing this to everyone. Ask DEnver, the Clippers, and a bunch of other teams in the west. GSW is no joke
Every series is tied 1-1...
This shall be an interesting round.
its that lack of seriousness that people have for an up and coming team, the spurs commited the same mistake against Memphis a few years ago. Its harder when a team has no history because you cant trust that their presence there is legit, or that they will pose a threat

Yes it will experience vs. determination. Gmae 1 was being won by GSW, then Spurs said "not yet" and put a pause on that run..Now GSW has answered I couldnt imagine a better scenario for a matchup. This will be epic
Strategy or not. The spurs just dont have the answer to stop the warriors. To much 3 pt shooting and too much athleticism. The closest team that could match up isnt even 100% right now, with OKC being hurt either GSW or Memphis has a huge advantage to advance right now
yeah they are the best shooting team in the NBA. Very difficult to contain.
NO DOUBT NO DOUBT!!!!!!!!!!! In there with Slicer chopping it up tonight!
Crazy to think that Thompson was 8-9 on 3's and the Spurs only lost by 9. If he misses 1 or 2 of those, and guys like Kawhi or Danny Green make at least 1 more three, we have ourselves a tie game in the 4th...
That 6 point swing to end the third was just MURDER for morale, too where we missed two wide open threes and Klay made that 3 buzzer beater to stretch the lead to 11.
I'm pissed off that the Spurs kept leaving him so wide open to double on another player. Apparently the Spurs still think we are playing the Lakers out there.
So will the Warriors winning in 7 still be as "moronic" as you claimed last year that OKC winning in 6 was disrespectful to the Spurs?![]()
So, you're taking joy in that I want the Spurs to win and just defending them but they lost tonight? Ok...
no, but I'm inclined to blame you for starting that ty thread should the Spurs lose to the Warriors in the series since OKC in 6 ended up happening last year.
Fair enough. If I can take from Dubs fans, which I will on Sunday in Game 4, I can take from the talkers here, lol.
I don't know, but I have the feeling the Spurs will still win in this series..it is not just I am a Spurs fan..I just know how good the Spurs team is...And GS is not a team like OKC before who has Durant and Westbrook...
The GSW team plays differently, but the Spurs can adjust to any team.. Pop will figure it out..I hope soon.
Fluke game...Spurs in 5...book it.
we missed a ton of wide open shots and FTs that would have more than made the difference.
It's pretty simple.
You can't shoot 24% from 3 pt and 39% FG and win playoff games.
You can make a big fuss about a lot of little things but when it comes right down to it; you have to put the Biscuit in the Basket.
The Spurs have been one of the best shooting teams in the league all year, especially from 3pt land.
I said it last month that if the Spurs shoot 40% or more from 3pt land they are basically unbeatable. I stand by that.
If you shoot 24% and 39% respectively you are going to lose. Period.
So talk about how to get better looks. But Bottom line.......Make some Effing shots just like you have done all year.
I have No reason to believe that the Spurs will have 4 bad shooting games regardless of GSW defense. 80+ games tell me that.
Spurs should win Game 3. Thompson's historical three point shooting is what got them the win for the most part. I don't expect Thompson to shoot career high again.
This is spot on and couldn't agree more.
