I'm sad because he could be a plus based on his playoff experience with this team but kind of EXCITED too who the Spurs are going to sign for the playoffs...

I am thinking of someone who can really score & defend but it's ridiculous even to say it..so I just zip it and wait..
OMG! I was really thinking of Mac when I said this only I knew he was in China. It seemed ridiculous to say that at that time but because he still playing great there averaging 25 pts a game (I read the news), and he worked out for the Spurs in the summer but the team did not sign him. Now it is not actually ridiculous my guess is a reality

    WELCOME TMac !!!

He averaged 25 points a game, but his team ended the season on the bottom of the ladder with a record of 8 wins to 24 losses. Typical T-mac, plays great individual basketball, but his play doesn't make his teammates better, and he never leads them anywhere close to the finals.

Actually he don't have to lead anything in SA. Just accept hit role, hit some shot, play active D and make some plays. This is what we want from him. Not trying to be The Guy...

Great situation for T-Mac, a team that won't lean on him for anything outside of just shooting the ball and being a body. He can't play worse defense than Green or Neal and he will look for his own shot. Plus he can finish at the rim.

and he can handle and pass pretty well, better than Neal/Green.

iow, a VERY INTERSTING exerpiment in desperation.

It would be great if TMac helped Timmy get that last ring, as well as TMac getting his first.

TMac @ 33, still in pursuit of his first second-round playoff appearance hope he'll make it this time. Like Finley, Brent Barry & Rasho who joined the Spurs and get that bling.

TMac is probably our best backup PG now.

    Amen.

I don't ever want to see Neal or Green handling the ball on a fast break or attempting to bring the ball upcourt against pressure. T-Mac was the unofficial backup PG for the Hawks last year and looked very competent in that role.

    well, well, well

Pop's decision to waive Jackson comes biting him in the ass this series vs. Warriors

Jackson would probably have had a good series and be useful vs. Jack/Thompson/Barnes. not to mention he would have gone all out vs. his old team.

If we lose the series, all blame should be on Popovich

yes in a series where the Spurs are struggling to shoot well, they are missing a 30% shooter.

    Awesome.

    Awesome.
This would make sense if Spurs had lost due to missed shots. Spurs got outhustled, bullied and their wing guys shredded us. Playoff Jackson would have helped a lot

I agree with you guys above, he would have helped in more ways than one! AND HOW THE WOULD HE SHOOT WORSE THAN BONNER OR NEAL? Are you guys dissing JAX SERIOUS! The guy who shot 50% last year, 60% from three and 90% from FT, the only guy to do that during the postseason! Yeah he might have helped some! Good post Hater! Good post to some above too!

I hate to kick Danny Green to the curb but the Spurs have to punish the Warriors for putting Curry on the SG. TMac has a post game and is a good passer.

everybody that believed losing this ugly-ass that can't play basketball at a D-league level anymore would hurt the Spurs ..
