Split in Oakland. Take next two
Taking just one in Oakland should be viewed as a success. The Warriors are certainly viewing a split in SA that way. Bring the series back to SA at least 2-2 and put yourself in the driver's seat in Game 5. Winning both in Oakland would be great, but they'll be in good shape if they can take one. They'll need to really study tonight's third quarter.
Game 3, must win obviously.
Like I said in one of the other threads, I can see the Spurs coming out and winning Game 3. The Warriors are riding high and could be prone to a bad shooting night/ letdown after winning 1 in San Antonio....

yeah this is what I'm talking about! Pop gave that game away last night starting bonner and having a for brains defensive strategy in the first half. Why do we have to matchup with them why cant we go big, pound them make them matchup to us. Run them off the 3-pt line let Timmy and Tiago shut down the paint which will lead to more turnovers. The can drive but would rather shoot. If we let them it's suicde. They had 2 historical indivdual performances gotta believe that wont continue. And it's not like we're missing cause their D is so good, these are wide open shot even dunks and layups.

Nope Spurs are not dead. Can they win this series? Of course, but will they is still up in the air. I'm just pointing out that you are trying to use something in your argument for one side when it also can be used on the other side of the coin.
All this optimistic talk is great...ill still watch, but if you cant see the Spurs being clearly outmatched in this series, I feel sorry for you. The next week is going to be . Id bet the farm pop starts bonner in game 3...what a joke. I said it before the series, that if the Spurs try to matchup with gs's "small ball", theyll get run out of the gym. Well, two games in, they are getting run out of the gym.
I agree, Spurs in 6. They needed that wakeup call. They will respond by spliting the next two, winning at home, and closing out in game 6 in Cali!
