Matty had a wonderful 1st round. I hope he enjoys his courtside seats for the rest of the playoffs tbh.

This. So glad he was able to make Dwight Howard his , but he should be the 6th big on this team.

Bonner isn't good against teams that thrive when going small like OKC. He's best against teams that like to play two slow bigs.

Unfortunately there are no more teams of those caliber in the playoffs left.

Even if we would have played the Pistons ppl would be saying they have so much talent we're done. Basketball is not all about talent . Its about being smarter than your oppenent. Be ready for their jabs and counter with a left hook.

Agreed. If they give them a similar or more of a beat down on Sunday, GS gets chippy and folds most likely.

Maybe Pops was reading my post to go big and check Curry. Diaw attacking was great, it was there all night. Curry and Thompson just didn't miss, Danny and Kawhi was just great closing in and hassling. Great team defense. Just cut down on fancy passes which caused a coupleof turnovers. Need to box-out better and don't give them second chances. Go Spurs Go!

That was some big nvt basketball there. Every time the Warriors made a run, the Spurs remained steady and hit 'em right back. There wasn't any sulking or suc bing to the pressure. Just good ole fashion playoff road basketball.

I wasn't sure this team had this ability. Great job.

    Now keep it up.

Where are you losing your time now man?
Put up some valuable post will ya?

Curry and Thompson still combined for 6 of 14 from three (43%), which is about par for the course. The big difference was the other guys missed all of their treys unlike the prior two games. The W's need the team to put up 40% from three and close to 50% overall from the field to win if we execute like we did.

Great to win by 10 even though (1) +8 offensive rebounding differential led to ten extra shots for GS and (2) below average 3pt shooting (Manu 1 for 8, ouch).

It was nice to see The Spurs taking back control of their game, i.e; controlling the pace, not trying to play one-on-one, not trying to take the first shot available, playing great D, etc, etc. Pop said they had a bit of an "iden y-crisis" or something when this series first started. Anyway... I hope Tony will be okay to play on Sunday (he was sooo good tonight), and Pop will stick to pretty much what he did tonight as far as rotations go. NO more small-ball, Pop. If Ginobili decides to show up, this is a scary team. Props to the French got, for one game. But it's only one game and he didn't really get others involved. Hope he can do it again; ideally, with lesser scoring and getting everyone else involved, particularly the shooters. I thought Diaw was huge as well.
Go away already you ing jerk! Team Los Angeles, go fish you head and stay outta here.

Splitter made a huge difference. Establish the big guys inside and force the Warriors to adjust. They had to play big and it played in to our hands

Good effort on one ankle considering he could not jump. If Splitter was fit we would monster the Warriors moving forward.

Classic, old school Spurs playoff road win. I loved it. I was especially impressed with how they responded to Golden State making runs and even cutting the Spurs lead to 1 in the 4th quarter...

Tiago needs to just attack the rim when parker gets trapped or anytime he gets it in pick n roll looking for the pass first
