rayjay making a solid point. Spurs are getting pounded by a team led by Steph Curry, a fragile jumpshooter, and Mark Jackson, one of the worst/most aggravating coaches in the league.

You've been raped. Your honor isn't in question now. Now it's the reckoning, not your honor, that's in question.

Wait, so the Spurs played like in game 1 and the Warriors just melted in the last 4 minutes, so the Spurs got outplayed. In game 4, the Spurs led by 8 at the 4 minute mark and lost in OT. Somehow the Spurs still got outplayed.

There's some double standard afoot here.

The Spurs don't have a far and away better team than the Warriors. This "4 HOFers" talk is just smoke and mirrors, and the constructing of an exit speech. The Spurs haven't been a real contender since 2007. Injuries and all the other ty team systems just make the Spurs appear better than they are. They are one of the few teams who are collectively better than their individual merit.

As a whole, the spurs have been outplayed. The miracle comeback in game 1 was a fluke occurrence (exciting as it was). Though Klay Thompson's shooting in game 2 was also a fluke, the fact remains that the Spurs never took their opportunities to counter and couldn't mount a comeback. The only game where they seemed totally in control was game 3. The game 4 collapse might be the most worrying event yet.

Given how Tim, Kawhi, and Tony have played this year (in the regular season, yes, but one must win games in the regular season to make the playoffs, and especially to earn a high seed), it seems clear to me that the Spurs are the superior team; they just have matchup problems with GS.

It remains to be seen whether they will suc b to the matchup problems (like Memphis in 2011, OKC in 2012), or overcome them.

Blame is on that tired old bag 7-22 ... maybe pop should install springs on his shoes so he gets a little more lift. His shot was flatter keira knightley.

If you flip the series, the score is still 2:2, but the Warriors mounted a 16 points in 4 minutes comeback instead of an 8 points in 4 minutes comeback.

To have a "collapse" you have to have built something. The Warriors collapsed in game 1, did they not? Yet you're saying the Spurs were outplayed. You cannot have it both ways. The Warriors lose, they outplayed the Spurs. The Spurs lose in a less dramatic fashion, they were outplayed by the Warriors. A guy has a fluke shooting night from three and you somehow expect the Spurs to "mount a comeback" down 20 points? They got to within what, 8? That's a 14 point comeback. You can only dig so deep before you have to stop digging.

"seems clear" doesn't equate to "is proven". Matchups define the playoffs. Regular season record means .

Someone needs to commit a hard foul on Curry and/or Klay to get them off their shooting rhythm tbh. And Aron Baynes needs to go up against Bogut to box out for the boards, not Tiago or Duncan

Pretty sad they need to basically injure a player or two to have a chance.

I rather they lose then cheap shot their way into the WCF where most than likely will get picked apart by the Grizzlies.
