One of the GOAT... I will cry when he retires... I can't imagine the NBA without him. Wilt, Shaq, Magic... that just shows the company he's in. GOAT GONNA GOAT.

So, question is, can Timmy break it? He'll get a few more this year and will top Wilt, but will he bay able to top Magic? I wouldn't count on it but it's very possible.

I was so fortunate to be 13 when San Antonio drafted Duncan. I got to watch him my whole teenage years and young adult years. Truely the best I have ever seen other than MJ.

Only 14 to go, and he's got two years left on his contract.

I have a feeling that the final year will be a buyout. I honestly think next year will be the last year for Timmy, Ginobili, and Pop. I've dreamed for years that the Spurs will win a championship in Duncan's last year. I can just imagine the Spurs winning it at home, and with 3 minutes left and the game obviously over, Pop calls a sub timeout for Duncan. I could only imagine the crowd and how loud it'd be. There would certainly be tears as the crowd watches Timmy walk off of the court for the last time. I know I'll cry, my favorite athlete ever.

I'm right there with you. Born and raised in Eugene, OR. My older brother became a fan of David Robinson when he was drafted, that's still has favorite athlete ever. The Blazers were punks so my brother wanted a good role model. Of course being such a huge fan of the Admiral, he became a huge fan of the Spurs. Being very young, I of course started to follow because my older bro and father were big Spurs fans. Then I was 8 when Duncan was drafted, instant love right there. He has always my role model and favorite athlete. Very fitting to have two brothers, with the older being a fan of the Admiral and the younger being a fan of Duncan. To this day we still wear our jerseys when we play pickup basketball. So great to see Duncan amongst the names of legends like these, he truly deserves it.

I always tell people, it's easy much easier to achieve greatness and win when you played for the old Celtics or any version of the Lakers..

Duncan has achieved greatness for a franchise that doesn't attract free agents and doesn't want to spend money..a franchise that didn't win before him and possibly won't win after him, tbh..people need to remember that when they are ranking players..

It's always being a shock to me that players wouldn't want to go play along side Tim Duncan, he's a great teammate and he's not selfish. I think it has a lot to do with the money, spurs don't spend much on anyone ever.
