TNT & NBA TV covering Knicks/Pacers like it was the finals and looking forward to OKC/Memphis.. no real mention of the Spurs. Had Warriors won it would have been the leading story on every network.
Only thing they're gonna "splash" is their tears on the court when they lose the series.

True Story...
The Splash Brothers are looking more like the Splat Brothers at the moment tbh.
Does anyone find "Splash Brothers" to be a cool nickname?
Fitting tbh. Curry/Klay could be a great backcourt for the next decade.
I don't disagree with that but "Splash brothers" sucks ass, tbh.
Klays shot looks terrible...curry had some go in and out on him tonight. He's still a concern going forward but Thompson is done. Thank kawhi for that..
Oh they'll be doing a lot of splashing alright. Splashing that lure and bob into the water
Meh not as bad as "Kawabunga Leonard" spurfan was throwing out last year.
It's a disservice to Curry that the media and fans have included Thompson with him when the Warriors are discussed, tbh..
Klay Thompson is an average, streaky player that disappears more often than not, tbh..
He had a dominant game 2 because the Spurs stupidly kept leaving him wide open, and the narrative expanded..
they'll be splashing plenty on their fishing boat soon tbh
It used to be The Super Splash Bros, then someone twisted it into just the Splash Brothers.

more like the splat brothers tonight.
6-22 combined shooting and only the 3rd time ever both were held under double digits scoring each.
Klay will be a very good player imo. Hes not as good as Curry but hes also like 2-3 years younger.
Curry's ankles will always prevent that. He sat last night because Pop relentlessly attacked him on defense. They're both nice, and elite shooters, but there's nothing else in their games that excites me.
He's a complementary player.
^ this, tbh
as long as bogut, green, and landry continue to set illegal picks for them, they will continue to score at will behind teh 3 point line.
One never knows
They look promising
And GS does have a lot of young talent and are now media darlings and will rank high in next years pre-season rankings.
However things happen. New Orleans was the next big thing- after 08 many predicted the finals the next year
Orlando with a relatively young team made the finals in 09, OKC looked formidable for the next decade however one bad trade makes that seem less so.
It really makes you admire the Spurs and Tim Duncan. Yeah, we wish they would win even more, but they are doing it on a tight budget. They have a chance for their 8th conference final in 16 years. All done with only one top 10 draft pick (granted it was Tim Duncan).
It's kind of a subtle "tribute" to another great duo that called Oakland home... The Bash Brothers (Mark McGuire and Jose Canseco of the late 80's Oakland Athletics...
