The perfect day in my opinion...
Wake up around 6am, can smell the coffee brewing, after pouring a cup notice it's pouring down rain. I make the call.....550 (to win 500) on the Niners to cover. Kick back and turn on some vintage Piedmont blues. After watching the Niners totally destroy the Broncos in the SB, it's off to dinner and a night of great food (steak/shrimp) drinking, and sex. After the sex (she's in that boat on the sea of bliss) turn on the antique lamp by the bed and delve into a new James Lee Burke I just bought.

In about two years you are going to have problems that can only be described as an inability to sit still and feel normal and will have to quit ALL of that at once. Going cold turkey on one thing isn't fun, let alone 17.
Just a tip from someone who's been there.
You're preaching to the choir boss. Only "drug" I use now is weed. Over the years I have developed slight anxiety and I can barely handle being stoned sometimes. I could imagine a full blown bad trip on a hit or two of acid..
I've taken trips to my closet with a pack of cigarettes; not to smoke, but to use as "torches" to put on my own "polynesian fire show" while stanking up all my clothes.. Stared at my veins pumping through my skin, and my face bubbling like water in the mirror..good times
Feel ya on the anxiety for sure. It's the worst when you're no longer taking xanax for fun but because you actually need it. I dropped everything though. Even cigarettes. Sometimes when I drink too much coffee, I'll just feel... wrong. Alcohol has been making me either sick or drunk way too fast lately too. I've gone from Bluto to a cheap date in a matter of years. I'm not even 30 yet.

It's weird because anxiety is really all in the mind. I sometimes literally have to tell myself I'm fine, and just paranoid. Your heart starts beating faster, you get short of breath, it's crazy. I have found that rubbing one out in the shower gets rid of the anxiety pretty quickly. Just kidding, but seriously.

Definitely. I would honestly say I have more confidence now than I did before ever getting into drugs because I beat anxiety. It's really great not getting trapped inside your own head anymore. I set myself back professionally for sure but the good thing was I have zero drug related arrests or criminal charges. Ironically, the substance I abused the least, alcohol, is the only one I ever got arrested for (DWI).
When's the last time anyone smoked (or even saw) hash btw? Serious question...i haven't seen chocolate around in 10-11 years
