On a scale of 1-10, how worried are you about each Grizzlies player's ability to impact the game against us? Be honest.

Marc Gasol: 8.5/10 I think his defensive presence and size will give us a lot of trouble on both ends. Both their main bigs will probably keep ours in foul trouble most games. Arthur isn't a bad guy to come in off the bench either.

Zach Randolph: 7.5/10 Not to worried about the D, but he did all over us offensively last time we met in the postseason. I don't think he will be as good as he was then, but that potential is still there.

Mike Conley: 6.5/10 Not gonna lie, after we shut down Steph Curry, somehow Mike Conley (underrated btw) doesn't worry me a ton. He's supposedly a good defender, but from the games I've watched this year that mostly seems to be because of who he has in the paint helping him out. I don't think he can lock down Parker.

Tony Allen: 9/10 on D, 2/10 on O. Dude killed us last series too, so hopefully Manu doesn't the bed against this guy again.

Tayshaun Prince: 4.5/10 Guy's lost a step, not too worried about him and his limited offense. The only way I can see Prince being a major factor is if the Grizzlies are rotating fresh defenders on Tony.

How about you guys? Who worries you the most?

Considering it's the Spurs we're talking about, Prince could easily have his (offensive) game of the season against us at some point in the series.

And I don't see how anyone who saw the 2011 series wouldn't be terrified of Randolph.

Manu only shot 44% and had 17 turnovers with just 20 assists. Only shot 50% just one game in the series. Under 40% twice.

    ZBo - 9.5

    Gasol - 6

    Allen - 5

    Conley - 4

    Prince - 2

We have the best wing guards in the NBA (maybe tied with Memphis and Miami). I'm not too concerned about their guards hurting us this series. Curry is > Conley and we shut him down.

Curry was shut down after he rolled his ankle. Spurs did not shut him down before the injury.

Manu is not shooting the ball as well anymore, age has caught up with him.

To me, Gasol and ZBo are supposed to get what they can get. So it's anybody other than them two.

Curry and Conley are two entirely different players, Conley isn't shooting well either, he's putting up 17ppg just on 38% shooting and that's against Jackson and Fisher! He's also waaaay easier to guard with a player like Green.

Curry was shut down after he rolled his ankle. Spurs did not shut him down before the injury.
Actually, Curry only shot 35% with just 4 assists in game 2, and in game 3 he shot a pathetic 29% and only scored 16 points. He rolled his ankle at the ass end of game 3 when it was already decided.

Curry was contained in game 2 and shut down in game 3. He progressively got worse even before rolling his ankle.

if you take Currys field goal percentage outside of 3rd quarter game 1 til the end of game 3 when he rolled his ankle Curry was shut down

and idk how Darrel Arthur isnt worrying anybody
gurantee hes gonna go Abaka on us like he seems to his whole career
wouldnt be suprised if he gets overconfident after knocking down all those jumpers and goes Hakeem on Bonner

Bayless is also a terrible IQ scrub whose game is prone to killing the Spurs like Jarret Jacks

I came in here to say just that! He got us in 011 and played near on par with Parker! If that happens we are in trouble.

I agree on most but Jack had a great first round though, better than against the Spurs! So he was just on a roll in the playoffs, period. I hope Bayless is not near him out there, if he turns into Jack last series we are in trouble.

Can't minimize how important these two are to Memphis...they will get theirs, but if they go off at the right time..that's pretty key...
