lol @ a couple of Kobe's fans reassuring him:

    "you're still my favorite"

"I still think you're still the goat"

Most annoying fans on the planet, Kobe FAN BOYS.

Read again numbnutz. I said "For me..." And WGAF that PJ went into more detail than I did about their differences? You act as if I disagreed with Phil. I mentioned Kobe's shot selection and clarified those thoughts.

My other notion that Kobe's individual comp > MJ's is also true. Am I wrong? If their roles were switched, MJ would have been 2nd fiddle to Shaq (and rightfully so I might add), he would have had to close quarters/games, he would have to feed Shaq constantly, while simultaneously being expected to give his squad 20-30ppg - just like Kobe had to.

And I stand by my opinion that Kobe would have dominated the same players that MJ did.

I'd like to see you anything I wrote. I'll wait.
Kobe wouldn't do very well in MJ's shoes, because he wouldn't have HOF bigs surrounding him to put back all the he bricks. Lakers under Kobe always spent like sailors in a house, whereas Reinsdorf was a cheapsake even during their dynasty years, so it's not like MJ had the best team money can buy like Rapist. Plus Kome's defense would be sporadic at best, saving his energy for....you guessed it....more ridiculous shots. MJ had some really good players in his era, not sure why you want to make this about compe ion. but away at whatever you can to win your argument. truth is you shouldn't be comparing the two, yes I know deep down you want to say Kobe is better, and before Achilles (peace be upon it), you were probably holding out hope that he could get another ring so you could say they are even.

But now you can only fap to the Time Warner contract giving your team a chance. so a little of this .

I would have loved to have seen Kobe have to deal with all the hand checking that MJ had to deal with as well as no defensive 3 seconds.

If MJ played today with the current rules he would average 20 FT's a game, and over 45 ppg.

Today's players are a bunch of cry baby whiners who wouldn't know a real foul even if Bill Laimbeer came out of retirement and knocked them on their ass.

Jordan won a championship with Luke Longely, Will Perdue, and Bill Wennington. Longely as starting center of the second three-peat. LUKE LONGELY!!!

Kobe needed Shaq to win, and when Shaq was gone, he had to have Pau.

The rules in the Kobe era are more friendly to peremiter players than they were during the Jordan era.

Kobe failed to get his team to the playoffs in 2005.

    I'm done.

    You forgot Cartwright.

Lets explore how MJ's teams beat teams lead by all star or HOF bigs, shall we? 18-24 strategic fouls to use on the likes of HOF bigs like Shaq or Ewing. Then MJ/Pip dominated the perimeter players. MJ/Pip were good for 50+ppg/night. they Had good role players who defended and lights out 3pt shooting (Paxon or Kerr). very balanced team that could lock you down and score at will. That's why MJ never needed 20/10 center. But it started with perimeter D. Most offenses back then were dominated by PG play. Mark Jackson (Knicks or when he played for Indiana), Mark Price (Cleveland), Zeke Thomas (Pistons), Magic (post Showtime). MJ/Pip either outplayed or flat out dominated their perimeter counterparts...and their bigs had just enough fouls to go around to keep players like Shaq in (relative) check.

Not making a case for Kobe. He just so happen to win with scoring bigs. They just won differently.

And stop with the 2005 nonsense. We tanked to get Bynum just like Robinson feigned an injury so you guys could get TD. I'm glad though. He should have been a Celtic.

if MJ played with Shaq, he would have at least 10 les

    Kobe Bryant ‏@kobebryant17 May
The comparisons are #apples2oranges Wonder what the perception would be if M played wit @shaq instead #differentroles #differentcareerpaths
If Bryant hadn't played with Shaq when he was a punk kid, he'd only have two rings at this point, not five.

Fact: Jordan has 6 Finals MVPs. Bryant has two, and one of those was a total joke (6-24 in Game 7).

Why would a team with a GOAT ever tank to begin with?

    yup

    Glorified healthier T-Mac
or a Scottie Pippen who takes more shots, minus the defense

I love how Kobe acts like landing on the Lakers actually hindered his career. When in reality landing in the second winningest (and most consistent) franchise actually was a huge boost to his career because the le teams hes been on are literally the only reason hes considered Top 10 all-time and yet he still didnt match MJ. Can you imagine if he ended up in Charlotte, hed be nowhere near 5 les much less 6.

Look, I know you claim to be female but recognize a random troll for what it is. Many troll accounts don't pick their actual favorite teams else it's a dead giveaway, plus some of them want to troll the other teams' fan base.
