Is the le referring to Bonner?
We cheered for Bowen. We've nary room.![]()
Is the le referring to Bonner?
I'm tired of people referring to Tony Allen as a legitimate NBA starter. I don't even think that scrub would make our roster.
Seriously I thought Tony Allen was that washed up dude playing for the Celtics until he tripped TP and I actually noticed he was on Memphis and a whole different scrub!
Yikes.
Neal/Bonner/Blair/Finley/RMJ/Bogans/RJ
Thank God Tony didn't get hurt, but damn I just had to laugh at this . Wtf
Tony Allen. I hope the spurs use his intentional trip on Parker as extra motivation to dish out maximum punishment in this series.
I'm so confused what this guy is trying to convince people to believe!
They were actually both laughing when he got up. And yeah what he said wasn't bad really.
F Tony Allen that communist piker.
He is clearly shaken up. BIG TIME. Poor guy.![]()
Should've been a flagrant foul imo.
And I'm not sure what he's referring to, because ESPN, TNT, ABC, and NBAtv never mention what the Spurs have "been through". They only talk about what the team they're playing has been through and what excuses they have. I've been watching most of the converage, and they make zero excuses for the Spurs and give them as little props as possible. It's like they're pissed they're there.
I sorta understand what Allen is saying. Especially when 1 reported asked if the grizz were in awe of the, which is kind of a stupid question
As far as the tripping goes, its a soft playoff foul. I mean, its not like the guy hip checked Parker into the scorers table. lol
Like as if we never had guys who did this type of work on other teams in the past playoffs... There's a reason why they said it was going
to be a physical series.
what !!!!!!!!!!!!!1Tony Allen .what are you doing !!!
Tripping still could have been dangerous.
A twisted ankle or broken arm.
Some of you guys are a bunch of babies. You guys want all the respect in the world get over it.
Reality check time people.
1) that was not an intentional trip. Unlike some Bowen has done. He did not have time to form the thought "I'm going to trip him" and do it. It was just a reaction trying to recover from a blur fast spin move.
2) Allen is not a scrub. He's a nice role player and works his butt off. The spurs would trade any of their scrubs for him in a heartbeat.
He's tired of hearing about all the playoff wars the Spurs have been through. He's basically saying he doesn't think it matters what they've done in the past as far as this series goes, and he's right. Grizzlies lost cause they played bad and the Spurs played well, not because of the past playoff history of the Spurs.
So you say he just accidentally stuck his foot out and hooked Tony's foot as some kind of recovery "reaction". As if hooking another guys leg just comes naturally after getting blown by. You're a really funny guy.
1. Disagree. It really did appear intentional.
2. Agree. I would have in a Spurs jersey any day, though I don't think him and Manu get along too well.
This is an example of a le without reference becomes out of "context". Seems derogatory - was not at all. He was patient than I would of been...nobody was to build up and praise the team that just took a dump on you, especially so closely removed.
Getting under his skin, aw yeah!
Injuries is all I can think of. Lol
That trip was reactionary and not intentional... similar to a kick ball... It's not like players go out there intentionally to kick the ball when defending someone's pass, its just a reaction.
This whole thread is chock full o' suck.
